dog walking on Thur 7/22

Scoobie - Scoobie had eaten most of his dinner yesterday.  Last night on our late visit, we took a longer walk... it was a little cooler.  We had another long walk this morning... he did lots of sniffing but I didn't catch him eating anything.  I have the same issue with my yellow lab and the rabbits.  Ugh!

Jackson - I was sitting at the kitchen table last night and watched Jackson push his dish underneath the couch.  Then of course he wanted it.  Of course, I pulled it out for him and actually expected him to push it back under there but he didn't.  He ate!  He slept well last night... the pillows on the couch were all messed up :)

Chester & Bailey - We took a walk around the park this morning.  Bailey found a tennis ball that she carried for a little while.  I am doing the lunch visit and then I've asked Laura to do the dinner and late pm visit tonight.  She is also going to do the late pm visit for me tomorrow night.

Sparky - I'd put Sparky inside yesterday afternoon and I'll do the same again today.  The heat index is supposed to be between 100 - 105.... ugh!  I guess I should have some water in front of me right now.  She is doing just fine.  I put a few pieces of food in her purple kong last night again to give her something to do when I left.

Ruby and the dog sitter

I think Ruby likes me.  She was really excited to see me this morning.  I let her out of her crate and she tinkled just a little bit.  I got her breakfast ready for her and put out a clean potty pad.  She ate a little bit and then we went for a walk.  It was probably around 8:45am which was really nice.  I used to walk my dogs around the lake when we lived in the same area but we'd go really early.  I was always the one clearing out the cobwebs first thing in the morning which was not pleasant being covered in them by the time we were done.  Dog walking later in the morning means that someone else cleared out the cobwebs for us which was nice!!  We did get hissed at by the geese too this morning.
