Merry Christmas from Sam & Buddy
Sammy is singing along with the Chrimstas tunes.... I think at the time I was listening to James Taylor's Christmas cd. Funny that that is what it looks like and I am very lucky to have gotten this shot.

Buddy loves his birthday present, the monkey
Buddy loves and I mean loves his monkey. He actually loves both of the monkeys and if Sam has the other one, he takes it from him. (Sam sometimes pays him back and takes it back from Buddy.) Occasionally there is a tug a war contest too:

Sammy turned 12 today and he and Buddy had a party. Click here to watch the youtube video of Sammy opening his present. Somehow he knows how to open presents and he is really good at it. It is fun to watch but does become a problem at Christmas time and any other time there are wrapped presents around that aren't Sammy's. He thinks they are all his and there he should be able to open them all.

Buddy and I had a great run this morning and he is now passed out on the couch behind me. Sam Sam loves this cooler weather and couldn't be happier out running around in it. Although when I took his collar off when we got to the driveway, he galloped towards the house because he knew it was time for breakfast! Unfortunately Buddy will be pretty unhappy soon.... it is doggie bath day at our house this morning. That's not his favorite thing.
