George & Alex - George sure did bring back a lot of memories for me last night. I had totally forgotten that chihuahuas like to get under the covers. I had fallen asleep last night and he was up on the bed with me. I'd put one of the really soft pillows on the bed for him to lay on (he is always laying on the pillows on the couch so I was thinking that's where he'd want to be.) At some point, I can feel him moving around up near my shoulder and he is crawling under the covers. I had to laugh! I didn't hear a peep out of Alex all night. Both went out this morning and peed and pooped. They both ate all of their breakfast too. midday visit: I had about an hour until my next visit so I hung out with the boys. We watched Days of our Lives... my guilty pleasure that I never get to see! I've watered all your plants today front and back but I think they're getting ready to get rained on.
Fillmore - For our midday visit, we took a walk around the block. It was pretty warm but we went slowly. He was hot when we got back (as evidenced in the picture) but he seemed just fine (not too hot.) I'll do a shorter midday walks if it stays this hot though.

Benjamin, Frankie & PJ - the crew is doing just fine today. Ben was my alarm clock again this morning. Frankie and I were snoozing pretty good but Ben thought it was time to get up!
Dog walking on Sunday 5/23
Benjamin, Frankie & PJ - Everyone is doing just fine but we did have a "1st" yesterday. I couldn't find Ben anywhere in the house. I knew he was in there behind a closed door somewhere but I had to go through the house twice to find him! He's a lot of dog to lose so I was beginning to wonder about myself. Turns out he was in the toilet room in your bathroom. When I walked in, I could see his fur sticking out from underneath the door. Crazy dog... that is a lot of dog in that little room! I had to laugh at him! He woke me up this morning around 6am in his typical alarm clock Ben style. (He jumped up and put his 2 front paws on the bed.) When I went to put my slippers on this morning, I was greeted by one very wet slipper. I think he must've drooled on it when he was waking me up. Lovely, huh? :) Gotta love Ben!!!
pet sitting on Saturday 5/22
Ben, Frankie & PJ - we got lucky with the rain this morning and at noon. We got both walks in without a problem. Ben still has diarrhea... I've cut back on his food some. Jay & Chloe - I have given Chloe the can of food that was sitting out. I assumed that's why it was out. I split it in half and gave it to her over the course of 2 days. She liked it!
Sparky - Sparky was ready to go outside this morning and of course it rained overnight and after I played with her some, her feet were fairly muddy. I did wipe off her feet last night before I let her inside too.
Pet sitting on Friday 5/21
Benjamin, Frankie & PJ - After attempting to get the carpet clean last night, we turned in for the evening. Everyone slept well, no one seemed to have an upset tummy. I worked on the spots on the carpet more this morning and it looks better but not like it did yesterday before this happened. :( When I was over mid-morning, Benjamin has a little bit of diarrhea outside so I'm guessing it was him that left me the little (actually not so little) present. He is acting just fine of course! Jackson - Jackson is such a funny guy. He doesn't greet me when I come in the door, I have to go and find him. Then he acts excited to see but even more excited to go outside and sniff!
Jay & Chloe - they're doing just fine. Both are eating what I put in their bowls each meal and I think Chloe would eat if I refilled her bowl every hour!
Dog and Cat Sitting on Thurs 5/20
Ben, Frankie & PJ - well, last night wasn't as restful b/c I don't think Ben was very tired. PJ jumped up on the bed a couple of times during the night so then Ben had to jump up too. Then of course PJ had to tell Ben how he felt about that! This happened 3-4 times. Actually when I was getting ready for bed last night, Ben jumped up all the way on my bed and laid down. Crazy guy is pretty agile for being so big!!
Jay & Chloe - Jay had a good morning: chasing the tennis ball (and eating dirt), lots of petting and breakfast. Chloe got some rubbin' too and she loved her breakfast too.
Jackson - I've tried taking pictures of Jackson but every one of them has been blurry. I will attempt again! This morning he ran around the backyard for awhile but then he wanted to eat grass so I brought him in the house. With Chemlawn just there yesterday, I didn't want him eating the grass!
