Pet sitting on Saturday 2/12

Chester and Bailey on their early morning walk this morning. Chester & Bailey - Shannon said all is well and that Chester and Bailey could see their breath on the walk this morning.  It is cold!

Sib - Sib howled as I was opening the garage door.  I'm not certain if I've heard him do that before or not.  We went for a short walk, mainly short b/c he stopped to do tons of sniffing!

Hadley & Ollie - they are doing just fine.  I think I've decided that Ollie should leave the tennis ball outside after we're done playing.  After throwing the ball for him last night he brought it inside and it was really dirty.  Ugh!  He needs to keep one inside all the time so it will stay clean.  Hmmmm, I'm not certain how to accomplish that!  LOL!!

Genny & Max - Shannon was happy to report that all is going well with G&M.  They've enjoyed their outside time and Max of course loves his breakfast!

dog walking on Fri 2/11

Hadley looks like hes ready for a game of chase! What a cute picture of Ollie!

Hadley & Ollie- here is Laura's note from yesterday:

I've been having some really fun visits with Hadley and Ollie. Hadley has been so affectionate! He just wants me to pet him and tell him how adorable he is at each visit. I haven't had any trouble getting him inside, maybe that is the trick? Ollie is too focused on our tennis ball game to care about getting loved up on. Once in a while he will let me sneak some petting in but not for long! After all the talk of snow, we barely had anything to mention. It is still a bit too cold to leave them outside but that will change his weekend. I have attempted to walk both of them but separately for now. I don't do it very long, just enough for them to get used to me. Still deciding on whether I want to take the big leap and walk them together. Most of the time we are in the backyard. Ollie and Hadley were so cute tonight. They both met me at the door, one with his tennis ball and the other with his furry animal. So sweet and full of energy!

pet sitting on Thurs 2/10

Hadley and Ollie - The boys are doing just fine.  Hadley slept downstairs and Ollie slept in the room with me.  Ollie decided around 4am to jump up on the bed with me.  The snow last night didn't amount to anything thank goodness.  Laura attempted to walk them yesterday.  I think Ollie was a bit of a challenge... We'll keep trying.

dog walking and cat sitting on Tues 2/8

Happy 18th birthday to my nephew Andy!  18....WOW! Basil - he loved getting brushed some more today (two brush-fuls of fur were thrown away today!)  He was really attacking the green string too.  Yesterday he was feeling lazy but not today!

Buddha and Lulu - Buddha looked pretty comfy sleeping at the end of your bed this morning.  Lulu and I had a nice walk.  The sunshine is out today!

pet sitting on Mon 2/7

Buddha and Lulu - yesterday was beautiful, today it was chilly again.  We had a nice long walk this morning and Lulu pooped several times. :)  I cut our dinner time walk a little shorter.  Her back right leg was trembling a little bit so I didn't want to overdue it.  She got a chance to stretch her legs!  Buddha stayed inside all day today. Basil- I pet Basil for most of the visit today.  He wasn't as interested in playing but he LOVED the petting.  His motor was really going!

pet sitting on Sunday 2/6

Basil lazily (is that a word?) reaching for the green string! Basil - Basil just makes me laugh.  We were playing with the green string and he was being lazy at first.  Just kind of looking at it and occasionally swatting at it.  Then he got into it.  He was really batting it around and flipping over from side to side.  Too funny!

Jackson loves his couch time!

Jackson - Jackson paroled the perimeter of the yard, peed, pooped and headed straight for the back door.  I think he'd like for it to be a little warmer outside.  We had some couch time and I pet him.  He LOVED it!!

Lulu and Buddha - they both greeted me at the door when I came in.  I thought perhaps Buddha wanted to go outside but I was wrong.  Lulu and I had a nice walk.  It was chilly but it felt good.  She is a pooping machine :)  LOL!
