Lincoln - Here's Shannon's note: Lincoln had a great walk today! I had to take his pic pre~walk b/c once he's walking, there's no hope of picture taking! Very speedy! I tried to get him to keep up with me today ;-)
Sweetie - Sweetie loved her walk this sunny midday! We even saw a kitty running free, which she thought about chasing for a second!
Charlie & Maggie - Charlie and I had a really nice walk on the afternoon visit. I didn't see Maggie though. I actually stopped by twice last night. I wasn't planning on it but I left my folder there and I needed it so Charlie and Maggie got to see me twice! I let Charlie outside (both visits) and I fed him too. While he was eating I gave Maggie some lovin'. While Charlie was outside, your neighbor shot off some fireworks. That scared both of them... ugh!
Lucky, Rocky, Cotton and Mattie - Rocky didn't want to come to me last night but this morning he sure did. I took Lucky out last night and then put the leash on Rocky and took him out. This morning they both went tearing out and ran around the backyard and took care of their business. I fed all of them this morning and refilled all of the water bowls... I'm guessing Lucky is the one drinking all the water bowls dry??
Holly and Tibby Whiskers - Tibby Whiskers is eating. She'd eaten a little bit yesterday but when I went this morning, she'd eaten an entire can I'd left out for her. I threw away the old and gave her 2 fresh bowls. Holly and I had a nice long walk this morning and yesterday she got to see one of her "friends" that lives a few houses down.

Izzy and Guthrie - They've been just great. Izzy is such a love bug but Guthrie loves my attention too. I even got a couple of kisses from him this morning! Yesterday we took a walk on our first visit, I fed them and hung out with Izzy while Guthrie barked outside and last night we all went outside for awhile before coming inside. Guthrie played last night while I rubbed on Izzy. He broke one of his bones in half so I picked it up so he wouldn't chew on it anymore. The pieces looked a little small for him. This morning I fed them and then we all went outside. It was raining pretty good. Izzy took off but came back after just a few minutes. Guthrie stayed outside longer but then he was ready to come in. It was pretty nasty out.

Max and Cozzie - they both greeted me at the door but Cozzie turned around when he saw it was me and not you. However when he saw Max getting a bunch of attention while I was reading your note, he walked over to me. He wanted to sniff my hand and a few minutes later, I got a little ear scratching in. I fed them... you'd think they hadn't eaten in a week! They are definitely members of the Clean Plate Club! I rubbed on Max some more but Cozzie disappeared (he was in your bedroom.) I scooped the box too. I opened the blinds and then realized I don't know what "open" means. Does that mean pull them up (which is what I did) or open them like you have them in your kitchen??? Hmmmm 2 years doing this and this is the first time I've pondered that! Max liked them opened all the way, he jumped up on the chair to look out!
Ginger - Ginger slept well last night. She was happy to see me when I came in. We went for a walk and when we got back in and then went into the bedroom and jumped on the bed. I grabbed my book and went into the bedroom with her. She slept and I read for a couple of hours. I took her for a walk this morning too.
Chipper - Chipper slept upstairs last night or at least that's where he was this morning. He didn't greet me at the door like he usually does, I had to call him! We spent some time outside the morning and after being out for a little while, he came back in to eat his breakfast.

Fillmore - We had 2 nice visits today. We had a pretty early morning walk and it was chilly today. Fillmore didn't seem to mind at all. He enjoyed being out this afternoon too. I could tell he was happy! I said goodbye to him and gave him an extra rub on the head and he gave me a kiss on my forehead. Ahhhh, made my day!
Chipper - Chipper enjoyed soaking up the sun today. He went outside sniffed a little bit, peed a couple of times and then he headed for the pine straw and laid down. I think he is working on his suntan!
Lesson #17 Learned by this Pet Sitter
I cannot imagine doing this job without a blackberry (or iphone - I just happen to have a bb.) I learned this recently when left my bb at home by mistake. Luckily I was very close to home and was able to pop over and pick it up. I actually thought to myself though, "I should call Don and ask him to meet me and give it to me." Ha... no phone. It would've been really hard to call him!
