Sparky - when I refilled the water bowl on the back deck this morning, I saw the remains of what used to be an orange pillow. There was a lot of stuffing on the floor. There was thunder and lightning yesterday and I think Sparky took it out on the pillow.

Sparky was ready to go out this morning right when I got there so we did! She eventually came back in to get her breakfast but not before she checked everything out!

Sparky - Big storm last night around 11pm. Tons of rain and a good bit of thunder and lightning. My boys weren't happy and I'm guessing Sparky wasn't either. She was just fine this morning though. She zoomed around the yard a few times before coming in for breakfast.
Cloud and Chloe - Cloud was in the window when I walked up this morning. They've been just great but they're going to be sooooo glad to see you!

Last night was not a great night for dogs. Thunderstorms with lightning and heavy rain started around 5:30pm and they cleared out just as it got dark.... in time for all the fireworks. Big sigh for all the dogs that were scared. Sparky - I ran over around 5:30pm yesterday and put her inside. I was just in time. :) She peed before she went in the house and it thundered while I was there so she was more than ready to go in. I fed her dinner while I was there. I went back later that evening and let her out but it was still storming so she wasn't happy about being out. I went back early this am and then she was happy to go out. No storms, no fireworks this morning!
Cloud and Chloe - They both greeted me today as I came in. I fed them, scooped the box and gave them their snack before I left.
Jay & Chloe - I played ball with Chloe, fed them both and scooped Chloe's box before I left. She was busy in there yesterday. I'd scooped yesterday am but there was quite a bit to scoop today too!
Zack and Sadie - It was storming at the last feeding visit so Yvonne brought Zack inside to eat. She was holding Sadie back to keep her out of the food :) and feeding Zack by hand so he'd eat. He wasn't happy about the storms.
Rocky, Lucky, Cotton and Mattie - All is well and I think Lucky has found a new best friend in Yvonne! Yvonne said she follows her everywhere and constantly wants to be touched and pet!
Chester & Bailey - I just talked to Shannon and I understand you connected this morning. Poor dogs... sounds like they had a rough night with all the noise. She said she took them on an extra long walk this morning. I'm sure they liked that!

Chester & Bailey - I took this picture yesterday when they were playing. Here is Shannon's note: Chester and bailey enjoyed the beautiful Charlotte weather this morning, before it got "oppressive" (as the news likes to say ;-)) Bailey enjoyed a long scratch after breakfast and they both loved our walk! All is well!
Zack and Sadie - Zack and Sadie were up and ready this morning. They both peed and ate their breakfast. Zack was hungry and ate it all. I watered the plants last night.
Sweetie - Sweetie greeted me at the door. She peed and ate her breakfast. We went for a walk since it was cooler. She peed again and pooped on our walk.
Lucky, Rocky, Mattie and Cotton - Lucky and Rocky greeted me at the door. They both peed and pooped. I fed everyone their breakfast. The kitties wanted a little attention too! I watered the plants as well.
Jay & Chloe - There is a tennis ball under your car. Luckily there was another ball in the yard. :) I didn't want to crawl under your car but I would have for Jay! They've been fed and the litter box was scooped this morning.
Sparky - Sparky is happy this morning. Everyone who was shooting fireworks is still sleeping. Last night we went out to play after she ate dinner and as soon as we got out, someone set off a firework. That was the end of our playing. Poor girl. I had turned the tv on for her last night to hopefully drown out some of the sound.
Princess Sparkles - She was funny last night running around the yard. She would be a good long distance jumper or a hurdler. She had me laughing. This morning she sat beside me and then ended up on her back so she could get a belly rub. You were right, she is so good about going in her crate too. She ate all of her dinner and breakfast and she peed and pooped both visits too.
Cloud & Chloe - They both greeted me at the door. Times have changed from my first visit when Cloud didn't come out for awhile. I fed them, scooped the box and gave them their "snack" as I left.
Baby & Callie - Someone (I think Baby) pooped on the towel on your bed. It is now on top of your washer and I grabbed a beach towel and put it down. The litter box wasn't too full...I'm not sure why she would've done that. I made certain I scooped it really well this morning so hopefully that won't happen again. I fed them and gave them fresh water.
Sadie - She was sleeping when I drove up but she saw me and her tail immediately started to wag. Bless her heart, there were firework casings in the street a couple of houses down. She probably didn't have a very good evening last night. I always enjoyed July 4th until I started this business. Now it makes me feel sorry for all the dogs that hate it.
Eli, Peyton & Chaos - I fed Chaos and took Eli and Peyton out. Chaos joined us and all of them peed. (E & P twice b/c of course they have to pee where Chaos does. I know they are girls but they act like boys sometimes!!) I gave Chaos her shot, refilled the water and food bowls and then I took all of them out again. Eli and Peyton both pooped.

Chester & Bailey - They were great when I saw them yesterday. I didn't walk them b/c it was already pretty hot. I tossed the ball for Bailey a few times and would love on Chester in between throws. Here is Shannon's note from this morning: Chester and Bailey were excited for breakfast this morning. They are enjoying the cool weather on our morning walks!
Zack and Sadie - They were very excited this morning. They both peed and Zack pooped too. Sadie ate her breakfast but not Zack. So I will try again later. I checked for accidents but didn't see anything. They were fine last night too!
Sweetie - she was still kind of sleepy this morning. She peed and ate her breakfast and we went back out and she pooped.
Lucky and Rocky were excited this morning. They both peed and I saw Lucky poop. Lucky still had about half her food left over from yesterday. We played outside too since its cooler. I scooped this kitty box as well.
Sparky - Sparky seemed anxious last night when I got to your house. I'm guessing someone must've been shooting off fireworks already. She just wasn't acting like herself. When we got in the house, she laid down immediately (which she never does) and then after I fed her, she started to go upstairs. She was fine this morning. She went zooming outside and then came in for breakfast. I refilled both bowls of water and I'm going to go a little earlier tonight to put her inside. (Last night it was just after 8pm.)
Eli, Peyton and Chaos - They'd eaten all of the food and drank all the water from last night (I refilled both before I left.) Both Eli and Peyton peed 2x and pooped. Chaos peed. She been getting her shots every morning and evening, her eye drop and Peyton is getting her supplement too. (Eli has been getting a treat while everyone else gets theirs!)
Sparkles - I could hear her tail wagging when I walked in. We went outside and she peed right away. She ate a little bit of her breakfast and then we played some. I tossed a few sticks for her. She finished her breakfast and she pooped too.
Sadie - Sadie was awake this morning when I drove up. Usually she has still been sleeping. She is doing just fine.... loving her breakfast that's for sure!
Callie and Baby - Baby met me downstairs again and Callie was curled up in the chair. They both loved breakfast time this morning too!
Cloud and Chloe - They both loved breakfast time but they really loved my attention. I had both of their motors going!
Bosco - Bosco had peed on the rug beside his box. I'd scooped it yesterday but it was pretty full this morning. I fed him his 1/2 can of food this morning and I gave him his fish oil tablet.
Jay and Chloe - I tossed the ball a good bit for Jay this morning. Then we went inside and I fed them both and scooped Chloe's box.
Jackson & Quigley - You are right, they are tired. No wrestling matches today! They both peed and Jackson pooped on the walk.
