the dog walker on Tues 7/25

Living right... I must be.  Got my last walk in with Scooby this afternoon and the skies opened up.  Now Buddy is sitting here waiting for his walk (and it has stopped raining so that is next on my list.)  Buddy doesn't like the rain so I'm sure he actually didn't mind waiting but he must know that it has stopped b/c he's sitting right hear breathing his hot, stinky breath on me. :)  I love him though even if his breath is stinky :) Sunny, Louis and Lola - they all ate well at lunch time today.  They were well behaved too on one of our walks when we saw someone and they didn't bark.

Eli, Peyton and Chaos - well... the green throw rug in your den needs to be washed.  It's been peed on twice.  I'm fairly certain it has been Eli both times.  Other than that, all is well.

Ginger - we've been taking our afternoon walks around the circle and her tongue is hanging out by the time we get back!  (Mine too!)

Jackson and Scooby- okay.... I'm laughing at them.  I know you can imagine the picture... jackson spitting out pieces of his food so there is quite the pile beside his dish.  This afternoon Scooby did the exact same thing.  I think they are related.  Funny!

Sunny, Louis and Lola - I am amazed that Sunny and Louis don't move at night, at all.  Poor Lola, sleeps right next to me and I move a lot so she does too.  I woke up at one point and she was sprawled out on her side with her head under my pillow.  Silly girl!  They're all doing just fine and no need for any medicine for anyone so far! Ginger - we had a nice midday walk yesterday although it was really hot!

Eli, Peyton and Chaos- they're doing just fine.  We are working on the "wait" command before going out the back door.  They are doing well with it and I'm preferring it b/c they walk out the door vs run! :)  Someone pooped in the house (Eli perhaps).  She has been drinking a bunch of water and has been panting some times when I've come in.  She's acting fine otherwise.

Jackson - he likes to sleep and I think he likes to sleep in too.  He was sleeping upstairs when I came in this morning but he did come down to go outside.  Then he was happy just sitting down though.  Eventually he got up and sniffed around.  Perhaps a walk tomorrow am!

Scooby - Scooby and I have definitely made friends.  He came and jumped up on me this morning.  Typically behavior I don't prefer but with Scooby, I welcome it because it means he trusts me / likes me!  We've had some nice walks so he can do lots of sniffing.

Zack and Sadie - the guys showed up this morning to work back behind your house.  Luckily the dogs had been out for awhile and taken care of all of their business.  It was really early and they were barking so I brought them inside.  Both ate all of their breakfast.

Zack and Sadie - they are always waiting for me when I come in and greeting me with loud "hellos!"  :)  They've been behaving themselves and staying away from the "fence."  I'm wondering too if you've switched their food b/c Zack is gobbling his up!  Zack and Sadie told me to say "Happy Birthday" too!

Scooby - Scooby was a little shy when I came in yesterday at dinner time but I think his desire to go for a walk has helped him overcome it.  He actually came right up to me this morning.  We ate most of his dinner from last night and I fed him again before I left this am.  He saw a cat on the walk this morning and he would've loved to chase after it!  (I didn't let him. :) )

Eli, Peyton & Chaos - They have the routine down now.  I'm amazed at how good Eli and Peyton are when I'm feeding Chaos first thing.  I KNOW that Peyton really wants the food but she follows me to the back door so I can take her out and Chaos can eat.

Jackson - he was staring something down when he went out this morning.  I expected him to start hunting but he never did.  He just sniffed around.

Lucky, Rocky, Mattie and Cotton - they're all doing just fine.  We have this routine down:  dogs go outside, Rocky sniffs around the yard and I toss sticks for Lucky.  Come inside, feed everyone and on the am visit, scoop the kitty box!

Ginger - I'm just doing midday visits with her for now.  I was in your neighborhood yesterday around 7:30pm and saw your brother's car at your house so I stopped in.  He was looking really comfy on the couch and said he was staying the night last night. :)  Ginger had company!

the dog walker on Saturday 7/23

I forgot my camera this morning... sigh.  Also, I am only updating the blog once / day, typically after my early morning visits.  My schedule will get fairly busy later today, tomorrow and Monday.  My blog notes might be fairly short.  I might not have time to download pictures but I did grab my camera now so I'll try to get some pics posted.  (I love that part and like seeing their cute faces on the blog.  I will try!)  I generally don't proof read my posts either which is a bad habit so I'll apologize now for the typos that I'm sure will get posted. Zack and Sadie - you weren't kidding that they took your fence down.  I was thinking just part of it, not the whole thing.  Looks like they might be there awhile too.... not good.  I carried your red recycle bin down to the far left corner.  There was a whole in the netting that skinny Zack could easily fit through and I'm really not up for the panic that would set in if he got out. :)  They both went down and sniffed around down there last night but this morning they really didn't at all.  We hung out on the deck this morning.  Sadie came over for some attention (I was sitting at the table) and then she went and laid down and Zack came over.  He got a lot of rubbin on his neck... I think he liked it!  I kicked the soccer ball some last night for Sadie too.  Both ate all of their breakfast this morning.

Ginger - she got to see Steve last night.  R&N were out in the middle talking with neighbors so I let Ginger off leash and they went running all around.  They really ran.  Steve even spotted a rabbit and went chasing after it so then Ginger had to run after them too.  That sent R and me running after them.  I'm sure it was quite the sight.  The men just stood their watching us... guess they weren't worried and figured us girls had it under control! :)  Ginger had food in her bowl last night from yesterday morning.  This am it was gone (I'm sure she worked up an appetite chasing Steve around.)  I fed her this morning and added about 1/4 canned food on top and she gobbled that down too.

Eli, Peyton and Chaos - This morning Eli spotted something back behind the tree line and so she spent the morning trying to get back in there.  I didn't really let her b/c I didn't want her leash to get caught and then I'd be crawling in there after her!  I gave Chaos her food right when I got there last night and then again this morning and she was a perfect angel of course for her shot.  I gave Peyton 1/2 joint supplement last night too oh and Chaos got a drop in her right eye.

Sookie & Sawyer - I think they're pooped from chasing a bunny this morning.  Luckily their dad stepped in and rescued Bugs!  Sookie looks really long in this picture!

the dog walker on Sun 7/17

Lucky, Rocky, Mattie & Cotton- yea.... Lucky had normal poop this morning.  Both dogs had eaten all of their dinner from last night too.  Of course the kitties had!  I played with the dogs this morning, fed them all and scooped the litter box. Lincoln - Thank you Lincoln for helping me get my exercise in this morning!  We had a great walk through the neighborhood and even walked up a couple of hills which was nice.  He did lots of sniffing and peeing and he pooped 2x too!  I fed him and gave him his medicine too.
