Chester and Bailey - I let the dogs out back and both peed. I fed them and then we went for a walk. Chester peed a bunch more times (he is all boy!) and they both were very happy when a lady out walking asked if it was okay if she said hi to them. Made their day!

Chester & Bailey - We were able to get our visits last night and this morning in with no rain. :) After a potty break this morning, I fed them and then we went for a walk. We just went to the end of the street and back at a slow pace. Chester seemed to do okay. He certainly liked being out! Bailey did too! I forgot my camera though.... shoot!

So sorry for the delay in posting today. It is early afternoon so I've completed all of the noon-ish visits too. Sparky - She was ready to go out this morning but she came right back so she could eat. I expected that I might be back over to put her inside by now but it hasn't stormed at all (yet.) It hasn't rained since overnight.
Jay and Chloe - Jay chased the tennis ball this morning and then I brought her in for breakfast. I gave Chloe the rest of the canned food and scooped her box.
Hadley & Ollie - you no longer have dogs.... you have cows. They have both wanted to eat grass this morning on both visits. :)
Chester & Bailey - Shannon said that Bailey found a large white ball that she did not want to "drop" before coming in the house. Shannon's patience won out and Bailey finally dropped it before coming inside.
Lincoln - Shannon said that Lincoln did his "dance" before pooping this morning. She said he was really circling around trying to get in just the right position. LOL!!
Lesson Learned #22
Goodbyes stink. This has been a a tough year and a particularly hard summer. Hard for me but even harder for the owners. I apologize for any I've missed but rest is peace to all of these cuties: Baxter, Bo, Bosco, Huski, Kaleb, Max D, Max S, Sammy, Sib, Slinky, Spanky, Stubby, and Cleo who thankfully is just fine but moved out of state.

Jay & Chloe - Since I'm seeing them 3x today, I went by early this morning so I can space the visits out. It was still fairly dark but Jay could still see the ball and chase it! I fed them both and scooped Chloe's box too.
Scoobie - Scoobie was ready to go for his walk this morning. He pooped, peed and did lots of sniffing!
Sparky - She met me at the door this morning and went zooming around outside. She ate her breakfast and then she was ready to go out again. I tried snapping a picture of her... .she wouldn't stand still. She was very busy sniffing! I fed the fish too and refilled both of her water bowls. I'll keep an eye on the weather. Chance of storms today.
Hadley & Ollie - Hadley sniffed around the yard this morning while I played ball with Ollie. After I fed them, I left them inside. I was at your house fairly early and Hadley had already barked once so I didn't want to totally tick off your neighbors. :) They both seemed just fine coming inside.
Chester & Bailey -Chester and Bailey were FULL of energy this morning!! Chester was making circles in the den! Hilarious! Maybe his leg feels better :-) They both made all of their potties during our visit, partly out back, the rest on our (short) walk! Great visit!
Lincoln - Lincoln greeted me with a scary Halloween mask today! Eeek! Hahaha I placed the tub of Halloween decor up on the kitchen counter for the remainder of our visits! When I took it from him he offered his lobster instead! So cute! He went pp and potty and enjoyed his breakfast! I let him roll around in the yard a bit too!

We had a thunderstorm last night from about 7:15pm - 8:30pm. It totally caught me by surprise. I was at dinner, had on flip flops (not a good choice) and I'd parked far away from the restaurant. At 7:45, I decided to make a run for it b/c Sparky was outside and I was worried about her. I should carry an extra pair of shoes in my car. The towels in my car did come in handy. :) Sparky- she was in the screened porch, was dry but ready to come in the house. I fed her dinner and loved on her. Your power must've blinked b/c the a few of the clocks were flashing but you had power. She was fine this morning. I fed her, she went zooming outside and I fed the fish too.
Back to last night: My house: decided to run by my house and change. It was pouring, thundering and lightning so trying to get the dogs I needed to see to go outside was going to be useless until this storm let up a little bit. I couldn't get internet at the restaurant so I couldn't pull up the weather to see when this storm was going to pass. I would also check the radar when I got home.... well no I wouldn't b/c I didn't have power. Ugh!
Jay & Chloe - you had power. Yea.... pet sitting in the dark isn't fun so I was happy that your lights were on! It was still raining and lightning occasionally but no thunder so Jay was fine to go out, pee and play ball. I played with her again this morning and fed them both and scooped Chloe's box. I gave her some canned food this morning too so she was very happy!
Scoobie - You had power last night too although clocks are flashing at your house. Scoobie was just fine. It started to rain a little harder while we were out walking last night but the lightning had stopped. :) We took a nice walk this morning. He did lots of sniffing and he peed and pooped too. He'd eaten all of his dinner from last night. I fed him breakfast.
Hadley & Ollie - You had power too and I was tempted to stay the night at your house in the a/c! :) However, I knew my boys wouldn't be happy if I did that and it was good that I went home. Both my dogs were pretty nervous b/c of the storm and I think Sam our yellow was just hot with no a/c and no fan going. Your boys are doing just fine. Last night they didn't seem to mind the weather at all (it had stopped raining) so I tossed the ball for Ollie a few times and rubbed Hadley's head. :) This morning someone had left a small present for me on the rug in the dining room. (It was very easy to clean up.) I played ball with Ollie and I left them outside to enjoy this nice morning.
