Jay and Chloe - This is my note from yesterdays visits. I've not been yet this morning but will go in just a little while and I probably won't post again after that. Laura is doing the visit tonight. On my first visit yesterday, I was throwing the ball for Jay, she turned around quickly to run after it and ran right into a tree. I saw her do it. Her side and shoulder took the impact. She kind of made an "ugh" sound like it knocked the wind out of her a little bit. She of course took off after the ball but after that I just kicked the ball around for her. I don't think she hurt herself but it didn't "sound" good. Crazy dog! She was fine last night when I went by and was very interested in playing ball of course! Chloe is just fine too!

Maisy & Gracie - They are doing just great. Maisy has loved being outside and Gracie just wants to be wherever I am.... or inside the house. They're funny. Gracie was playing with her stuffed turtle today while Maisy was laying out in the yard.

Maisy & Gracie - what great dogs to come back from vacation to this morning! They both greeted me at the door and then we went outside. (Well, they went outside. I didn't stay b/c it was dark and cold!) I can't believe the change in weather we're having. It's crazy but the dogs love it! They both ate their breakfast while I was there and they played with their stuffed toys and each other too.
Lesson #23 Learned by this Pet Sitter
I think dogs must think we humans are funny when we have the hiccups. I had them today while walking Sunny, Louis and Lola and every time I hiccuped, they'd turn and look at me like they thought it was funny! I was worried the neighbors would hear me and think I'd been drinking. The only thing I'd been drinking was water! :)

Scoobie - We walked in the dark and chilly weather this morning. It was early but it felt so nice! Scoobie and (all the dogs actually) and I love these cooler temps. He did lots of sniffing and he peed and pooped of course too! Jackson - Jackson was after something in the yard this morning. He was digging after it but never got anything. I enticed him away with a treat. :) Good thing he loves pupperoni!
Cooper, Spenser, Bubba and Ruby - They are doing just fine and loving meal time! Cooper still was really hesitant to leave the porch this morning. It took me about 10 minutes to coax him off... I had to resort to using his food to get him down. It worked!
Lulu - Lulu had a little hobble in her step this morning so we took it easy on the walk. She got to see Maggie while we were out too. She got her pills in peanut butter along with her breakfast.

Ruby, Cooper, Bubba and Spenser - We've not had any other incidents since my first visit yesterday. After breakfast I played with Cooper. After awhile, Spenser wanted to play too and got pretty animated so I stopped playing with them. I didn't want anything to escalate. They are all fine. I'm the one who hasn't forgotten the fight.
Scoobie - We had a nice walk this morning and then he ate breakfast as I was leaving. He'd eaten all of his dinner from yesterday too.
Jackson- He was crazy on the walk this morning running all around. If only I had a portion of his energy!
