Sparky - It is warmer out this morning so I am sure she is loving being out! I fed her breakfast and the fish and then we went outside. She was happy! Lucky, Rocky, Maddie and Cotton - Lucky went running for the back corner of the fence... I"m guessing you'd had a visitor (hopefully a deer!) and she smelled it. I didn't see it but I did hear something making noise in the leaves so I'm guessing it was a deer. Both dogs peed and pooped, I fed them all breakfast and I scooped the cat box.
Nas - he came scooting out from underneath the garage door as soon as I opened it and then I heard him meowing at the back door. I put his food and water on the deck and I grabbed your NY Times! :) I saw "the boyfriend" lurking behind a tree across the street. I think they missed each other!! LOL!
Jay and Chloe - Jay went shooting out in the yard ready to chase off any deer but we didn't see any this morning. She sniffed around a lot again though. I played with her, fed them both and scooped Chloe's box. Not much in there this morning except for crumbly stuff.
Baby & Callie - Baby really wanted out this morning but I didn't let her. I fed them and scooped the box which was really full again. I loved on them both too.

Sparky - her cute little face was in the window again. :) She wanted a belly rub this morning right when I got there so I gave her one and then I took part of Sparky with me (her fur) on the rest of my visits this morning. LOL! I fed her which she gobbled up and then she was ready to go outside. I fed the fish too. Rocky, Lucky, Maddie and Cotton - I didn't see any deer in your yard but I saw one on the way to your house. It was a buck (I don't know anything about deer) but his antlers where pretty big... I'd say 8 point. I let the dogs out this morning to pee then brought them in to feed them (it is cold!) and then we went back out again. I'll do the longer visit later today when it is warmer! :)
Eli, Peyton, Chaos - they're all doing just fine. I've not heard Chaos cough in a couple of days now so hopefully it was just allergies. She seems fine energy-wise too. Peyton is funny with her though. In the mornings when I open the door to Chaos' room, Peyton goes in and wakes her up. Every time. It is hilarious!
Jay and Chloe - I tossed the ball for Jay a bunch and I managed to not hit her today! I fed them both and gave them fresh water.
Baby & Callie - Baby was waiting right at the door (I expected she would be) but I didn't let her out. I fed them (all of their bowls were empty) and I scooped the box. Their litter box was really full. Lots of pee... I'm guessing that was Callie. I'm wondering if she might be diabetic?
Turkey Lurkey - crazy cat. As soon as I walked in the door today, she went outside. I didn't even get a chance to pet her. She had plenty of food and water. I took care of Ben too.
Lincoln -Mr Lincoln was very interested in eating grass this am on his quick pps...had to bring him TO his breakfast...(I'm starting to think that all of the pups have heard the rumors of delicious turkey dinners that humans are having... without them!) He finally perked up, ate and pooped on our walk! Whew its cold out there!
Chester & Bailey -Chester was snoozing behind the door today~ very early so I guess I woke everyone up! They went out for quick pps and then breakfast. Refreshed waters and Chesterman got his 1/2 tab and gluc meds. Went for a walk and Bailey pooped :-) Tucked them back in, with a treat of their own, each. All is well!
Lo and Sprinkles -Lo and Sprinkles were waiting by the door when I arrived again this am! They have a voracious appetite this trip, you'd think they were carrying young or something! Ha! Gave them fresh wet and dry foods, topped off their fountain and scooped their box. All is well! They're getting tons of love!
Max and Genny -Max and Genny were also very sleepy this am. Both went out for pps while I prepared breakfast. Brought them both back inside, max ate but Genny just laid in her bed....so curious. I took Max out again with me, hoping she just needed some alone time or something, but she had only eaten a bit when we came back in...I debated whether to take it up, fearing a fight while I was away, but really thought she's probably just not hungry yet...thought it worth a mention!

I am so thankful for all of the furry kids I get to see that make me constantly smile and laugh. I am thankful for the friends that I've made through See Spot Run. I am thankful for Shannon and Laura who help me on a daily basis and for my other pet sitting colleagues whose knowledge has been invaluable. I am thankful for Janine, dog trainer extraordinaire who has taught me so much about dogs. I am thankful for the great folks at Lab Rescue of North Carolina for the wonderful work they do especially for Stetson, Elvis and Bernie. I am thankful for my loving family, for my boys Buddy and Sam and for our good health. Safe travels to everyone.

Rocky, Lucky, Maddie and Cotton - they're all doing just great but I'm having a hard time finding sticks to throw for Lucky. There are lots of leaves back there. No deer sightings so far either :)
Chester & Bailey - I did your first 3 visits and Shannon is going to do the rest. OMG!!!! I LOVE Chester's bed. I think he loves it too! He just rolled over for a belly rub when I came in for the dinner visit yesterday. This morning we went for a walk and they both did some sniffing and peeing. It's cold and Chester started to hobble a bit so I cut the walk short (I was fine with that b/c I was cold too!)
Eli, Peyton & Chaos - We had a very productive morning.... all 3 peed and all 3 pooped! They're doing well.
Sparky - It seems really cold to me this morning but is supposed to warm up to mid 60's. My car said 38 but it seemed colder. I left Sparky out but I thought about it..... I thought about letting her out to potty and then putting her back inside and popping in later to let her out but she seemed fine to be out. It was just me worrying. :)
Jay and Chloe - this morning (haha!): 1st throw: the ball hit Jay. 2nd throw: the ball bounced and then hit Jay. 3rd throw: ball hits tree. Seriously!! All is well other than Jay might prefer a pet sitter with a better throwing arm!
Genny & Max - they went out to pee this morning then came right back in for breakfast. They went back out after breakfast. I've been feeding them their "snack" for dinner too.
Lo and Sprinkles -Lo, private eye, is scoping out the happenings on the sunporch...squirrel activity outside this am! They greeted me at the door, acting like they haven't eaten in days ;-) very warm welcome and great visit too!

Sparky -Her cute little face popped up in the window as I was walking up. She ate her breakfast and then she went outside. I fed the fish, left you a note and then I refilled her water bowls. She picked something up and was carrying around the yard.... a dead chipmunk. Yuck!
Jay and Chloe - I thew the ball a lot for Jay last night and again this morning. It is really nice outside! It did rain overnight but it had cleared up this morning. I fed them both and I scooped Chloe's box too.
Eli, Peyton and Chaos -Someone had peed on the kitchen floor last night. I'm not sure who it was b/c they all went out and peed right away when I took them out. All was well this morning. Chaos still seems just fine. Her eyes look better too. I'm only putting drops in once / day.
Turkey Lurkey - She was really talking again today. She was yesterday too! She was upstairs today and wouldn't come down. I went up there and she was just sitting on the ottoman, talking! She did come downstairs and I'd rub her head for a few minutes and then she'd eat, then I'd rub her head some more then she'd eat. That's how we spent the visit. :)
