Lesson Learned #32
I have learned this about myself: If I don't come in and out of your front door, I am bad to forget to look for packages at your front door. If you are expecting a package or you get them regularly for work, etc, please leave me a note to remember to look for them!! :)

Turk & Hawk - They are doing just great although a legal pad with bunch of writing on lots of pages took a beating last night (I'm guessing Hawk got bored.) I saw it sitting on the coffee table last night when I went to grab the mail but it didn't occur to me to move it. There was only a catalog that came in yesterday's mail... I should've left that on the floor and perhaps he would've shredded it instead. :( They are doing great and no more rodent issues :) And btw, no worries about the mouse b/c: 1. It was already dead and
2. It was a mouse and not a snake. Snakes are a big problem for me... knock on wood, I've only run into dead ones so far this year and they were tee-tiny :)
Jay and Chloe - It is nice this morning. Yesterday got humid but this morning was cooler so we played for a long time this morning and Jay found a tennis ball that wasn't all torn up so it bounced!!
Sadie - She is back to herself this morning.... she was ready for a long walk and she just trotted along (vs yesterday when she just wanted to eat grass!) She ate both meals from yesterday and she was eating her breakfast this morning when I left!

ok.... the last time I pet sat for Hawk and Turk, I also pet sat for Jay and Chloe. Now again this weekend, I'm pet sitting for both. I have to say though, I pet sat for a dog yesterday named Quigley that might be more ball obsessed than both Hawk and Jay. Seriously.... he wouldn't even drop the ball to eat his dinner. Now that is obsessed. haha!!
Hawk and Turk - Thanks for leaving the chuck it out. The dogs thank you I'm sure!! Hawk is funny. There are a couple of balls in the backyard but one of them is definitely his favorite! They are funny to watch both of them chase the ball too. I think Turk is faster but Hawk follows the ball better. Funny!! I walked them together last night and I think Hawk peed 3x and Turk more than that! oh.... yesterday afternoon I could tell that Turk had something... I walked over towards him and he growled at me so thenI knew then for sure he had something. (I didn't go any closer to him, needless to say! :) ) I put the dogs in the house and sure enough, he had a dead mouse. Yuck. I glanced around for a shovel but couldn't find one so once again, thank you for leaving the chuck it out b/c it was my shovel. I tossed the mouse over the fence. I let Turk back out and he looked around for it but once I fed him his snack, I think he forgave me. :)

Jay and Chloe -I was trying to get video of Jay shaking the ball around. Yesterday afternoon she was really shaking it around but by the time I pulled my phone out, she'd stopped. Last night, the ball kept getting stuck on her nose and she looked like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer when he had the plug on this nose and he talked funny. I was laughing at her! Chloe is doing well too.
Sadie - Sadie is turning into a cow b/c all she wants to do is eat grass! She wanted to last night on the walk and this morning too. She didn't eat her dinner last night before I crated her. She sniffed her food this morning but didn't eat it but she did eat 2 treats that I gave her as I left. Hmmmmm. She seems to be feeling okay and she did drink some water. Hopefully she'll eat during the day today.
Quigley & Jackson- they have a chuck it too. I used it once. Quigley doesn't know the command "drop." haha!
Happy Birthday Willow
Today is Willow's birthday. She is 7, we think. We were originally told that she was 5 but the birthdate we were given for her makes her 7 today. Regardless, Happy Birthday to our girl!
