pet sitting on Tues 5/15
Simba - We had lots of rain yesterday but Simba didn't care. He still trotted right along. We've been playing with some of his toys inside too. Lucky, Rocky, Maddie & Cotton - I got there this morning and Lucky was sleeping. I could see her through the door I tried to get a picture of her but the cats must've heard my car because they came in the room and woke her up. They are all doing just fine!

Simba doesn't mind the rain! We've been fairly lucky with getting our walks in when it wasn't pouring. :) He doesn't care though... he just trots along, stopping to sniff occasionally and certainly taking care of all of his business. He is doing just great and I gave him his pill again this morning.
Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms I know... including all of the moms who have 4-legged kids! Here is a Mother's Day wish I got this morning: Happy Mother's Day from Max and Genny to one of their favorite puppy Moms. How sweet! Thank you Max and Genny!

Simba - he is doing just great. Yesterday both visits, we took short walks so he could do all of his business and I fed him. This morning we took a longer walk and Simba peed, pooped and did lots of sniffing. We've been hanging out together... playing and he's been getting a lot of petting too. :) I gave him his medicine this morning along with his breakfast.
Hadley & Ollie - Yesterday, I turned around to grab something before I opened the door and when I turned back around, Hadley was just sitting there so nicely, waiting for me to open the door. As if I was going to open it and just let him run out with a big orange & pink pillow in his mouth. It's almost as if he was thinking, "if I sit here nicely like this, maybe she won't notice the pillow." Such a silly boy!! Needless to say, I made him drop it before he went out. Ollie is doing well. He's getting lots of ball playing time.
Lesson Learned #32
I have learned this about myself: If I don't come in and out of your front door, I am bad to forget to look for packages at your front door. If you are expecting a package or you get them regularly for work, etc, please leave me a note to remember to look for them!! :)

Turk & Hawk - They are doing just great although a legal pad with bunch of writing on lots of pages took a beating last night (I'm guessing Hawk got bored.) I saw it sitting on the coffee table last night when I went to grab the mail but it didn't occur to me to move it. There was only a catalog that came in yesterday's mail... I should've left that on the floor and perhaps he would've shredded it instead. :( They are doing great and no more rodent issues :) And btw, no worries about the mouse b/c: 1. It was already dead and
2. It was a mouse and not a snake. Snakes are a big problem for me... knock on wood, I've only run into dead ones so far this year and they were tee-tiny :)
Jay and Chloe - It is nice this morning. Yesterday got humid but this morning was cooler so we played for a long time this morning and Jay found a tennis ball that wasn't all torn up so it bounced!!
Sadie - She is back to herself this morning.... she was ready for a long walk and she just trotted along (vs yesterday when she just wanted to eat grass!) She ate both meals from yesterday and she was eating her breakfast this morning when I left!
