Simba - It started to snow just after I left your house yesterday for the dinner visit. Last night, Simba didn't seem to mind the snow. I was thinking he might not like the cold but he did just fine. It is really early Sunday morning (5:30am) so I've not gone to your house yet. I will be there in about an hour.
Speedy - I will go to your house a little later today to feed everyone.
Chloe - I will see her mid-morning.
Speedy - He makes me laugh. I've seen him yesterday and today. This morning he seemed really happy to see me. He came running out of his house as soon as I walked in the room. I fed him, the mice and the turtles. All have fresh water too.
Chester & Bailey - they are doing great. I had good timing this morning. It'd stopped raining/snowing when we were out for our walk. They both gobbled down breakfast. I left Bailey out of her crate this morning... hope that was okay for whomever was home sleeping. :)
Simba - he seems to be doing just great. He's not seemed like he's needed any pain medication - he's been ready to walk both visits. It was raining a little bit this morning when we walked but he didn't care!
Domino and Louie - crazy Louie wouldn't come this morning when I called him so he stayed outside. I guess since he'd been inside all night long he was ready to be out? I'll be back by in a little while and if he wants to come inside, I'll let him in then. Your sunroom was warm this morning from the door being closed so I know he'll be plenty warm, especially if he curls up on the loveseat! LOL! Domino is fine - bless his heart he was shivering this morning when I brought him back in. It is cold outside for old dogs. :)
Louie & Domino- I finally caught Louie sleeping on his "bed." He looks sleepy too, huh? He's doing fine. Domino is too!
Chester & Bailey - It is so good to see Chester and Bailey. I took them for a walk. We wandered around the natural area across the street. Chester had a little hobble in his step and he was breathing hard so I just let them sniff around. Both peed.
Speedy and Simba - since I"m not seeing them til later today, I will post about them Saturday morning.
A huge benefit of my job that I didn't expect at all: when I decide to redecorate my den, I get tons of great ideas from my client's houses! Don't be surprised if I email you and ask you about: where you got your couch (I have done this already), chair fabric (I have done this too), mirrors on the wall (I have done this and I'm getting ready to email another and ask the same question.) Now if anyone knows of a designer they recommend, I definitely need one!
Oliver - you were right. He hasn't eaten much. I did scoop just a little more food into his bowl this morning. He is eating treats though! :) We walked around the loop this morning. He did lots of sniffing, he peed and pooped. He has been just great! Maisy & Gracie - they are doing well. This has been our routine: go outside, come in and eat, go back outside. We hung out inside the house last night some too since it was so cold. They didn't mind the cold this morning... both stayed out for awhile.
Oliver - Oliver is just great! He was sleeping in this morning though... I had to call him and then he came running. :) We went for a short walk and he peed several times and he pooped 2x. I had a hard time getting a decent picture of him. It wasn't very light outside and he didn't stand still very long except to pee and I didn't want to take a picture of that! LOL!!
Maisy & Gracie - since I'm not seeing them til later today (it is 7:45am now), I won't post a note until tomorrow morning.
