Holly - When I got there yesterday for the noon visit, Holly was already outside! She greeted me with a bark and I think she was saying, "look, I'm already outside!!" I didn't get to meet Margaret. She came in between my visits yesterday. Holly is going great and I am really enjoying spending time with her. I've decided she likes: being outside, her walks and her canned food. Maybe not in that order!!

Holly - It was nice yesterday afternoon when I got to your house about 12:30pm so I let Holly out in the yard and this is what she did. The dog next door barked and she went running over there and barked back at him. I think this is what they said to each other:
Dog next door, "It's really nice outside. Why weren't you outside sooner?"
Holly, "My dog walker just let me out. It is nice. Woo hoo!!"
It's supposed to be nice again today so I'll leave her out again this afternoon.
Lesson Learned #39
When it is raining really hard and is supposed to rain all day, I should take 2 pair of shoes with me. I usually take 2 raincoats so one can dry off while I'm wearing the other one but 2 pair of shoes would be great when the first pair get too muddy to wear until I can wash them off! I am thankful for croc-type boots and whatever that material is that keeps my feet dry. :)

Holly - Holly and I have taken our walks every visit. It stopped raining yesterday by the dinner visit. She is very regular.... haha... she has pooped I think 3 walks out of 4. It is supposed to be nice enough to leave her out this afternoon. I know she'll enjoy that!
the dog walker on Sunday 2/17/13
Simba - It started to snow just after I left your house yesterday for the dinner visit. Last night, Simba didn't seem to mind the snow. I was thinking he might not like the cold but he did just fine. It is really early Sunday morning (5:30am) so I've not gone to your house yet. I will be there in about an hour.
Speedy - I will go to your house a little later today to feed everyone.
Chloe - I will see her mid-morning.
the pet sitter on Saturday 2/16
Speedy - He makes me laugh. I've seen him yesterday and today. This morning he seemed really happy to see me. He came running out of his house as soon as I walked in the room. I fed him, the mice and the turtles. All have fresh water too.
Chester & Bailey - they are doing great. I had good timing this morning. It'd stopped raining/snowing when we were out for our walk. They both gobbled down breakfast. I left Bailey out of her crate this morning... hope that was okay for whomever was home sleeping. :)
Simba - he seems to be doing just great. He's not seemed like he's needed any pain medication - he's been ready to walk both visits. It was raining a little bit this morning when we walked but he didn't care!
Domino and Louie - crazy Louie wouldn't come this morning when I called him so he stayed outside. I guess since he'd been inside all night long he was ready to be out? I'll be back by in a little while and if he wants to come inside, I'll let him in then. Your sunroom was warm this morning from the door being closed so I know he'll be plenty warm, especially if he curls up on the loveseat! LOL! Domino is fine - bless his heart he was shivering this morning when I brought him back in. It is cold outside for old dogs. :)
