dog and cat sitting on Saturday 8/17

Harley and Skittles eating = happy kitties! Harley and Skittles - What sweet kitties.  Harley even got brave and would sniff me but he never let me pet him.  I just let him be... he would chase toys that I tossed and Skittles let me pet her and she chased some toys too.  They are playing while I'm not there too b/c the toys (and your flip flops) are in different places each time I go back!

Jay and Chloe - it is nice to see them again.  Jay greeted me at the door.  We went out back so she could play a little bit.

Madison and Murphy - I saw them last night for the last time.  They've been greeting me at the door each visit and have been very happy to get fed.  I know they'll be very happy to see you!

Louis - He says Happy Birthday mom!!  (a little belated!)  He is doing great.  He's enjoying his walks.  He definitely associates me with walks.  He gets all excited and runs to stand right beside his leash every time we come in from the yard!  I've been giving him his medicine too and now I might add whipped cream cheese to my grocery list.  It looks really good!

Lucky, Rocky, Maddie and Cotton - all of them have been happy to see me... I think mainly because the kitties know I will feed them and Lucky likes to play outside.  Rocky has enjoyed roaming around outside too.  Both dogs have enjoyed getting pet too.

Louis -

Rocky, Lucky, Maddie and Cotton - I decided this morning that Rocky likes to sleep in.  Lucky was ready to go out but I think Rocky would've preferred that I come a little later (it was 6am.)  I took the dogs out twice and fed them all.  The kitties liked the early arrival time b/c that meant they got an early breakfast! Sweetie - She ate her breakfast first and then we went out back.  She sniffed around, peed 2x and pooped.

Lincoln - He walked to 2 treat stands this morning and then turned and headed for home.  (Of course he ate his breakfast before the walk. :)  )  He peed and pooped.  He wanted to eat grass in the yard when we got back too.

Lincoln - he is great.  I learned a new lesson last night:  walking Lincoln in flip flops means that my feet will get wet.  He drools a lot on the treat route!  LOL!!  I usually don't wear flip flops and now I have another reason why I shouldn't.

Lincoln on the walk this morning. He loves his walks! Lincoln- he is doing just great and he is loving his walks!  He keeps taking me on the "treat" route! :)  I am only giving him small pieces, not full sized treats each stop.

Holly - she is great.  She was sleeping on the red dog bed in the den this morning.  We took our walk and she took care of all of her business... she always does!

Speedy, the turtles, ducks, chicken and frog:  did I leave anyone out?? :)  They are all just fine.  The ducks really like their food so giving them that first makes it easy to open the door to their pen and get the water tank out. Fozzy, Sunny and Ollie - the 2 young ones were crazy last night.  (They were very happy to see me!!  They were both trying to give me bear hugs! LOL!)  Fozzy was happy to see me too.

Scoobie - Scoobie is enjoying his walks, sniffing around and barking at the occasional jogger.

Butter, Lucky and Sweet Pea - Sweet Pea hasn't had diarrhea since that first day until this morning (we were out on the walk.)  For the most part, it was very normal except the end was drippy.  (TMI??)  Lucky and Butter are doing just fine, SP is too other than that little issue.

Chester and Bailey - I believe you had a house guest last night and he was asleep on the sofa in Bailey's room.  She is not very quiet coming out of her crate :)  Her nails make quite a bit of noise on the bottom of the crate.... oh well.  I'm sure he can sleep away the rest of the day (and I am completely jealous!!)  I saw your kids on each of the visits yesterday and all 4 cars were at the house this am.  Chester did have diarrhea this morning.  I cut back a little bit on his food and I left a note for your kids to let them know.
