How do we get started?
Contact us to confirm we service your area. We will schedule a consultation so you can meet your dog walker/pet sitter prior to any needed service. We will email you the See Spot Run Agreement to sign. We'll answer any questions you have.
Services Provided and Fees
See Spot Run will provide pet care services as discussed during the consultation. Full payment for all services is due the first day of service and cash or checks made payable to See Spot Run LLC are accepted. There will be a $25 service charge for each returned check.
Midday Dog Walking Cancellations
No credits are given for midday dog walking cancellations unless given with 48 hours notice. If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled visit, payment is still due.
Pet Sitting Requests and Cancellations
Pet Sitting requests may require a 25% deposit to hold the reservation which is non-refundable if the reservation is canceled within 7 days. Once pet sitting requests are confirmed (usually 4-5 days before the first visit), there is a no refund policy for any canceled visits. No refunds or credits will be given for unused visits. Cancellations once pet sitting has started are not refundable. From time to time we turn away other clients because our schedules are booked and the cancellation policy ensures that we have space available for those clients who need our services and it also ensures that the pet sitter is paid when their work is canceled on short notice. Pet Sitting Clients should notify See Spot Run immediately via phone, text or email regarding any changes to your booked reservation.
Holiday and Overnight Pet Sitting Cancellations
A 50% deposit is required to secure holiday and overnight reservations. The deposit is non-refundable if we have turned away other reservations because our schedules are booked or if the reservation is canceled within 14 days of the first day of service.
Delayed Returns for Vacation Clients
If a Client’s return will be delayed, please notify See Spot Run as soon as possible in order to extend service. The Client will be billed accordingly. Although every effort will be made to accommodate late returns, See Spot Run cannot guarantee service beyond the agreed upon end date.
During the consultation we ask for 2 keys that we can keep for future pet care needs. All keys are kept in a secure location and they are never labeled with your name or address. If you want your keys returned, a $10 fee will be charged for each pick-up and return for future jobs. With your permission, we can make a 2nd key for a fee of $5.
We will bring in your mail and newspaper, take out your garbage, water plants, open and close blinds, and turn lights off and on.
See Spot Run’s Use of Independent Contractors
See Spot Run uses Independent Contractors (IC) to assist in carrying out agreed upon pet sitting services. All clients will be notified when Independent Contractors will be used however the client understands that ICs may be used as an emergency backup should the scheduled pet sitter have an emergency. Every effort would be made to notify the client immediately if this occurs. Client understands that if an IC is contacted directly by the client without going through See Spot Run, the IC is not covered under See Spot Run insurance and bonding.
