George & Alex are enjoying their dog walks although I think George prefers sleeping and Alex might prefer playing... or maybe eating!!

Casper - Casper has been just great.  He was really excited to see me when I came in on Tuesday.... I wonder if he missed me?  :)

Brady & Ferguson - the boys and I walked outside the gates and they enjoyed all of the sniffing they go to do.  Brady even pooped twice.... I don't think that has happened before!

Steve - We walked around the circle and he wiggled the whole time.  He grabbed his toy when we were outside in the yard and I snapped the photo!

Lucy - Lucy and I walked part way through the neighborhood before she put the breaks on signaling that she was ready to turn around and head for home.  she is funny!

Dusty - Dusty enjoyed trotting around the circle and he probably enjoyed his dinner even more!

Max - Max and I went out in the backyard since the front door was being worked on.  I think he liked sniffing around back there!

Vacation time

Alex & George - the little guys are doing just great.  I had Shannon do your 5pm dinner visits over the weekend and she is doing today too so you'll see the notes she left too.  We had a nice weekend but I know they'll be really happy to see you! Fillmore - Fillmore is definitely limping.  I've kept his walks short and slow.  He doesn't seem to be hurting all the time (although I don't really know), he just limps occasionally.  It is back left leg.  He has been eating well, drinking quite a bit of water and peeing and pooping so he is fine in that regard.  I've been feeding the fish too!

Eli, Peyton and Chaos - They all enjoyed their outside time this morning.  Peyton and Eli ran around (which is quite a challenge keeping their leashes from tangling) but they had fun!  Chaos wandered around and took care of all of her business too.

Sparky - Sparky snarfed down her breakfast and then bounded out the door.  Typical Sparky!!

Jay & Chloe - Chloe ate while I cleaned out her box and Jay checked out the yard.  When I was done with that, I threw the ball for Jay.  I fed them and gave them fresh water too.

Jackson - I sat outside at your table with my coffee and a book while Jackson scoped out the yard..

Jay & Chloe - We're definitely into a routine... I walk in and feed Chloe b/c she is meowing at me.  I refill Jay's bowl and give them fresh water and then I head outside to throw the ball for Jay.  This morning I went to clean Chloe's box but there wasn't anything to scoop (I'd cleaned it yesterday morning.)  I'll keep an eye on her to make certain she is okay... she is certainly eating enough so I think there should be something in her box to scoop.

Peyton, Eli and Chaos - Everyone is doing just fine.  Thank goodness I keep your key around my neck though b/c all of us got locked out when the back door closed.  I couldn't get the key to work in that door.   So we all headed around the front of the house to go in that way.  I breathed a sigh of relief when the door opened right up!  Peyton and Chaos pooped this morning.  Everyone peed.

Alex & George - Everyone slept well last night.  George wanted to move around a lot when I first turned the light off.  I guess he couldn't get comfortable.  After that though, I didn't hear a peep out of him.  We were up early this morning and Alex felt the need to bark when I let him out in the backyard.  I'm sure I didn't win any points with your neighbors. :(

Max & Genny - I think Genny would've liked for me to leave her outside.  She didn't want to come in the house.  They both did though and I gave them each a treat before I left.

Jackson - Jackson spent the morning sniffing around outside and then sniffing me.  He is doing just fine!

Fillmore - Fillmore and I took a shorter walk just up and down the street this morning.  I'm not sure if he stepped on something or what but I thought I noticed a very slight limp and then at one point he wouldn't put his left back leg down.  I'm not certain if it is sore or if he was just avoiding something that he didn't want to step on.  I will see how he is later today.  He is acting fine and he of course ate all of his breakfast.

Sparky - Sparky ran outside first thing this morning but shortly she was banging at the front door.  I guess that was her way of telling me she was ready for breakfast.  She ate and then zipped out the door again!

Alex & George - I was happy to learn that George and Alex aren't freaked out by thunderstorms.  It was thundering and lightning when I got to your house last night.  It wasn't raining yet though.  The boys went out into the yard, no problem at all and took care of their business before "night night."  I think the storm may have knocked out your cable though... I couldn't get the tv to come on (the tv would come on but the picture was black.)  I'll try it again today midday and will email you if it isn't working.  No worries, though I had a book to read. Everyone slept well.  George started out on the pillows and then made his way under the covers again.  They both ate all of their breakfast too!  2nd visit:  no more rain so far today so we got in a decent walk.  Alex snarfed down all of his breakfast and George munched on a couple of green beans.  The tv works just fine too.

Fillmore - Fillmore and I had a nice walk this morning and of course he enjoyed his breakfast too.  He is so darn cute, I can't stand it!!  He was standing at the front door looking out when I drove away..... made me want to go back inside!  It was thundering and lightning on our walk last night but I was happy to figure out that he wasn't bothered by it at all.  2nd visit:  it was overcast and fairly nice outside so we walked all the way around the block this afternoon.  Fillmore was interested in watching all of the people that were out walking or working in their yards.

Sparky - Sparky greeted me at the door this morning looking well rested.  She went zooming around the yard, checking for squirrels and rabbits I think.  It did storm yesterday.  When I got to your house last night, she looked a little worried and very glad to see me.  She immediately ran to the door (it wasn't stormy at this point but it had been and ended up again after I'd left your house) to go inside.  She stayed pretty close to me and was looking out the front window when I left.  I think she wanted me to stay.... bless her heart.

Eli, Peyton and Chaos - when I came in last night, they had all run to the back door so no one was there to greet me!  I thought that was pretty funny.  It didn't take long for Eli to find me though!  Last night and this morning, we all went outside.  Eli pooped both visits, Peyton pooped this morning and someone had pooped on the red carpet... perhaps Chaos?  It was very easy to clean up.  They'd eaten all of their food from last night so I refilled their bowl and gave them fresh water.  They're all in the den/kitchen area.  2nd visit:  everybody went out and peed.  Eli & Peyton wanted to chase each other around while I had them outside.... I had to stop them... I'm not strong enough for that. :)

Jackson - Jackson was snoozing on the pillows on the back of the couch when I came in.  I tried to get his picture but I wasn't fast enough.  He checked out the backyard last night but luckily for me, didn't do any real hunting.  This morning we went for a walk and I think he really enjoyed it!  He was running all around and of course, did lots of sniffing!  2nd visit:  Jackson enjoyed his usual sniffing around the yard while I read a book!

Jay & Chloe - Jay was ready to chase the ball this morning and Chloe was ready to eat her breakfast.  I did find the cod liver oil.  :) I cleaned out Chloe's box too.
