Dog and Cat Sitting on Thurs 9/9
Sadie - Sadie and I had 2 nice visits yesterday and this morning we went for a really long walk. Not much humidity and I had a cup of coffee so we were good to go! She even tried to go charging after a squirrel just as we were coming back up the driveway, crazy girl! I made a comment on the note that I left at the house about my midday visit today.... well I'm not doing the midday visit today (and I knew that, it was early I guess.) If the midday person reads it, hope there isn't too much confusion!
Madison & Murphy - I am only doing blog posts in the morning so I've not been good about posting my notes on Madison & Murphy since I'm not seeing them everyday and I'm not seeing them in the morning. Ugh! Sorry! They are doing just fine. I have become quite proficient at petting one of the them and brushing the other one! I was sitting on the couch and I thought Madison was going to crawl in my lap but she didnt. I was hoping she would. They've both been enjoying their snack of canned food!

Maggie - She greeted me at the door this morning and then I let her outside. After her breakfast, we went back outside for a little while and then spent the rest of the visit inside. I know she is going to be very happy to see you! Lucy & Gibby - Gibby has a new nickname (I come up with nicknames for all of my clients pets.... I'm not sure why. My dogs have several!) Do you like The Gibster? My black lab Buddy is The Budster. We had a hard time coming up with a nickname for Buddy. The Budster has stuck. I like The Gibster too. Perhaps I should start asking my clients what their pets' nicknames are..... Anyway, they are both doing just great. They went out and peed this morning and then they both ate breakfast (Lucy has only not eaten one time) and then we went outside again. Oh and Lucy's bed hasn't been peed on! Gibby was sprawled out on it last night when I walked up and Lucy was sleeping in her crate. I don't blame her, it looks very cushion-y in there!!
Allie & Tilly - Allie and I went for a walk while Tilly ate her breakfast. Allie didn't want to eat while I was there so I brought her food inside. Tilly scooted out the door before I left so she is outside. I gave her fresh water outside too.
Madison & Murphy - I figured out that I need 2 brushes! Perhaps there is a second one, I will look for it next time! I finally ended up brushing Murphy and petting Madison. That seemed to work and they'd both stay around. If I stopped paying attention to Murphy, he'd leave. If I was brushing Murphy, Madison would come over b/c she wanted my attention too. Keeping them both happy at the same time was a challenge! However, they were both very happy at the same time when I gave them a snack of their canned food. They both ate it immediately! (It was about an hour before dinner time.)

Maggie - Maggie greeted me at the door today and was ready to go outside! She came back in and ate her breakfast and then she went outside. She wanted to play then and the ran around the backyard some too. She was pretty funny!
Sparky - Sparky was looking at the window this morning when I drove up. She was ready to get outside too! I fed her breakfast and she was more than ready to go back outside!
Lucy & Gibby - they both greeted me at the door this morning and their tales were wagging! I let them out in the backyard and then they both came inside for breakfast. Both of them ate all of their breakfast and their pills. I gave them their pills last night at our dinner visit too.
Allie & Tilly - Tilly came running as soon as I opened the door this morning. That was the last I saw of her - she was very happy to be outside! Allie wanted to go for a walk so we went and she actually wanted to run! He tail was wagging the whole time!
Dog and Cat Sitting on Saturday 9/4
Gibby & Lucy - what a difference a day makes! When I walked in yesterday for our dinner visit, Gibby was really talking to me (actually mainly just growling.) He didn't seem very happy to see me but I'd like to think it wasn't me: the TV was on and Maury was on... there was lots of yelling and screaming (typical Maury I'm guessing!) If I'd been listening to that, I'd be growling too. :) (My apologies if you're a Maury fan.) So I let Lucy out in the yard (Gibby didn't go out.) I fed them both and then he came around and he let me pet him some after he ate. On the late night visit, both went out and peed and then Gibby let me pet him some more. Now this morning, he's decided he likes me. He came right up to me and I pet him first thing. THEN he decided he REALLY likes me b/c I grabbed their leashes and we went for a walk first thing. Both peed more times than I could count and they both pooped too. When we came back in, I fed them both. Gibby of course snarfed his food. Lucy ate well last night but didn't want to eat this morning. I did get her pill down her using peanut butter. I gave it to her last night in her dinner. Gibby has had his pill in both of his meals too.
Maggie - Maggie and I have had 2 nice visits. She greeted me at the door last night and raced to the back door so I let her out. She did have to pee. She went back to the door like she wanted to go back inside so we did and I fed her. After she ate her dinner, she pooped. She seemed more interested in being inside so we spent the rest of the visit inside and I pet her a lot! This morning we spent a good bit of time outside - it was just beautiful. We went inside when she decided to bark at a guy jogging by... it was early and I didn't want to wake up your neighbors. I've given her her pills, both meals.
Sparky - Sparky was in the backyard when I drove up last night. As I was walking down the driveway to look for her, she came running around the corner. Then she was ready to play! I tossed her toy for her a few times and then we went inside and I fed her dinner. This morning, she was looking out the window when I drove up. She looked so cute! She went zooming around the yard but it was pretty easy to get her in the house so she could eat her breakfast.
Allie & Tilly - Allie was sleeping in the hall when I walked up last night. As soon as I walked in, Tilly came running from the living room. I let Allie out and fed her. I fed Tilly too and she ate a little bit but when I went in the backyard with Allie, Tilly wanted out too. She spent the night outside. Allie and I went for a nice walk this morning. I think she really enjoyed it. Tilly was waiting for us by my car when we walked up and she came inside and was eating when I left.

Sam and Riley - they are both doing just fine. Riley doesn't seem to have an upset tummy anymore -he had normal poo this morning. Sam has been behaving himself so far too I think (Laura hasn't said anything to me about him.) I'll ask her tomorrow.
Alex and George - Post walk, George is ready for a snooze and Alex is still ready to go!
