Cat Sitting on Wed 9/15
Basil greeted me at the door today and he was talking! I think he was telling me he was happy to see me but is going to be even happier when you get home! I brushed him and we played a little bit. I fed him and cleaned out his box too!
Kitty Sitting on Tues 9/14
Basil - Basil has been eating well. His canned food has been gone every day and most of his dry food. He's been fairly busy in his box too. :) We have the routine down: I come in and pet him and brush him and then we play. Today we played with the multi-colored sting a little bit but he really just wanted to be brushed!
Pet sitting on Monday 9/13

Winters & Nixon - Here is Laura's note: We've0 had several good rounds of fetch with the tennis ball. Winters definitely wins! They were both running around the yard and getting some good exercise. The weather is great! They are eating somewhat slowly but they are eating. They love to sniff the heck out of me when I am there. They are also glued to my side the whole time. They are both very sweet dogs. I did put them football game on for them yesterday before I left and they were watching Family Guy when I arrived last night :) Oh, the fish seem happy as well. I fed it.
Basil - today Basil and I played with the multi-colored string and the light. He was pretty funny. I'd put the light on his paw and he'd put his head down towards it. He couldn't quite figure it out. I brushed him of course too and he was really purring!
Pet Sitting on Sunday 9/12
Sadie - She has been just great although I think her least favorite part of my visits is when I put her in her crate. She just digs her back legs in and does not want to go in. Bless her heart but when she does that, I do kind of have to laugh at her. She's got it pretty good so I don't feel too badly for her!

Chester & Bailey - They have been just great too. Chester just makes me smile every time I open the door and see his cute little face! Last night I even got to witness a game of tug a war..... the room might be a little too small for them though when they're playing. I made them stop. :)

Winters & Nixon - they came a running yesterday afternoon when I came in and again last night. They were pretty hyped up so we spent most of both of the visits outside so they could burn some energy. Both peed on the first visit and Winters peed 2x when I let them out for the late visit last night. I remembered to give them their Milkbones too.

Basil - Basil and I hung out for awhile this morning. I pet him and brushed him and he loved it.
Madison & Murphy - I really brushed Murphy today. He was eating it up so I just kept it up. Madison patiently sat close by while I was doing it. I brushed her when Murphy seemed to have enough.
dog walking on Saturday 9/11
Sadie - We had a nice walk this morning and lots of couch time afterwards. I had a bit of a break until my next dog walk so I just hung out with Sadie. She is quite comfortable with me... she jumped up on the couch right when I sat down and walking right onto my lap so I could rub her belly. I get the feeling she'd do that with pretty much anyone!!
pet sitting on Fri 9/10
Sadie - 67 degrees and low humidity this morning = a great walk! We both loved it. Sadie did lots of sniffing (again!), she peed several times and she pooped too. She chased after a squirrel too! Poor squirrel just froze, I guess thinking that Sadie could get to him but she couldn't!
