Turkey Lurkey - I'm updating the blog after my early morning visits and I'm not seeing Turkey Lurkey til later in the day, hence my delayed posts. She greeted me today and she was really talking to me right when I came inside. I pet her, checked her water and food and then we played a little bit. I looked around for something to use and you can see by the picture what I found. I hope that was okay. :) I didn't use it for very long.... she got tired of it and I didn't want to mess up whose ever it is!! I fed the hermit crab too.
Eli, Peyton and Chaos - I can't believe I missed that huge bag of dog food! I guess I was so focused on Chaos and just grabbing her food before her shot, that I didn't notice it. Her shot last night and this morning both went just fine. I took the big dogs out this morning while Chaos ate and then I took her out and then gave her the shot. They'd eaten all of their food from yesterday and drank most of their water so I refilled both bowls.
Sunny, Louis and Lola - I looked at Lola at one point last night and she was sleeping on her back, right beside me with the blankets coming up to her shoulders so her head was sticking out. Funny, funny dog! They all wanted to play last night so we did. We sat outside for awhile last night too b/c it was just perfect outside!
Lucky, Rocky, Mattie & Cotton - Lucky got a bunch of lovin' last night while Rocky sniffed around the backyard. I just rubbed on Lucky's head and down her nose. She loved it. I fed everyone, gave them fresh water and scooped the litter box too. I watered your plants this morning... I hope they're all doing okay. Luckily we have had some rain while you've been gone too.

Rocky, Lucky, Mattie and Cotton - Lucky is always smiling, particularly if she is chasing sticks. I think I've cleared out most of the sticks right along the path. I'm going to have to really look next visit to find some decent ones to throw! Mattie and Cotton enjoyed their breakfast this morning. The dogs preferred to lounge when we got back inside vs eat.
Sunny, Louis, and Lola - they are doing great! They were funny before we went to bed. They really wanted to play.... so we did. I'd throw a stuffed toy and they'd all go running after it. Even after we got in the bed, Lola still wanted to play. They all ate well yesterday and this morning too! The weather this morning was perfect. Lower temps and humidity. Everyone loved the walk!

Sunny, Louis and Lola - They are all doing just great. After our walk this morning, everyone ate breakfast! Everyone pooped on the walk this am too so it was a very productive morning! Lucky, Rocky, Mattie and Cotton - I'm doing the longer visits in the morning. It's just too hot to be outside playing during the dinner visit. We played, then everyone ate and then I took the dogs back outside. Both peed and pooped. I scooped the litter box too. I watered a couple plants this morning but it poured again last night so all the plants in the backyard have had plenty of water.
Turkey Lurkey - I didn't see her at all at first. I was at your house mid-morning so it was nice out, not hot yet. I checked her food and water and took care of the hermit crab... does he have a name, btw? Then I spotted Turkey Lurkey curled up on one of your patio chairs. She was enjoying the morning. If I would've had a cup of coffee, I would've liked to join her!!

Sunny, Louis and Lola -They are all doing great and are eating well! I've found a couple of cans of food that they each seem to like. They are doing very good on their walks. They did have to bark a little bit at a neighbor and his dog yesterday. I don't have HBO at my house so we stayed up late last night watching a movie. All 4 of us were snuggled up on the couch. It rained really hard last night. Lots of thunder and lightning too but they slept right through it all.
Jay and Chloe - It poured last night so I didn't water your plants this morning. I'm wondering if the bird eggs survived. They may have gotten a little flooded if water could get to them. It was really coming down around midnight. jay's ball was soaked but she didn't care. We played ball and she peed and pooped. I fed them both and they both ate while I scooped the litter box.
Rocky, Lucky, Cotton and Mattie - Lucky still seemed a little nervous this morning. It really stormed last night and I'm guessing she didn't like it. She got over though when I tossed a stick for her a few times (and she got really wet.) Sorry... I know she was recently groomed. Both she and Rocky look great, btw! They've all been eating well too! Mattie and Cotton have both looked happy when it is meal time!
Nas - Yesterday and I saw Nas and the boyfriend. This morning neither of them were around. It had stopped raining but it really poured last night. I left you a note in the house that Nas may have decided to board the ark last night but in case he didn't, I gave him fresh water and a bowlful of food this morning. :)

Lincoln - Lincoln is well this beautiful sat am! We took a nice long walk after breakfast, and he drank lots of water once home :-) He has sneezed several times today too! Jay and Chloe - I played ball with Jay this morning and she got a sufficient amount of dirt in her mouth I noticed! Silly dog! I fed them both and scooped Chloe's box too. I played some with Chloe too.
Sunny, Louis and Lola - they ate some yesterday and they all ate breakfast this morning after our walk. I was happy to see them eating. They've been enjoying their walks and hanging out on the back porch with me too. Last night we had lots of cuddle time on the couch.
Lucky, Rocky, Mattie and Cotton - Lucky was watching me as I pulled up today. I took both dogs outside and played with Lucky while Rocky did some sniffing. Thanks for the fruit.... I'm not used to getting offers of food. I appreciate it!

Sunny, Louis and Lola - We've been walking, playing and cuddling. They're all doing fine... although they're not eating much. I did get Lola to eat a small can of food this morning but the boys haven't had much at all to eat. I'll try some different food today.
Jay and Chloe - Jay barked at me again as I walked up this morning and I wasn't pushing the recycle bin. She's being a very good watch dog! We played some more this morning, I fed them both and scooped Chloe's box. (I got your email...you're so funny. Seriously, no worries at all!!) I looked for the watering can yesterday and couldn't find it but I did find it this morning. I went to water the plants out front and you have a bird's next in one of them. They both were a little damp (it rained yesterday afternoon) so I didn't water the one with the nest. Sorry. :)
PS I had the camera but the batteries needed replaced. The pictures of Chloe were all too dark.
Lincoln - Shannon's note: Lincoln is well this am, there was a storm last night :O( I will say that he wasn't in the mudroom to greet me when I arrived, like he usually is, but he quickly emerged from the back of the house, well front actually :O) He did his rolling in the grass thing and got totally soaked, as the ground is still quite wet! He did all of his business, between our walk and the backyard! Great visit!
