Rocky, Lucky, Maddie & Cotton - I've not seen Lucky chase Rocky around before but they did this morning. They were pretty funny and they're fast!! The kitties are doing fine too.
Sadie & Henry - I've looked around for toys for Henry but I haven't found any. I waded up a cupcake liner and he batted that around this morning. He was crazy, wild zooming up and down the hallway this morning. Sadie is doing just fine too. I pet her for a really long time last night.... I think she liked it!
Harley & Gibby - they are just great. Harley has been eating pretty well. I think running around the backyard, he works up an appetite!
Chester & Bailey - Chester and Bailey were very rested this am and had tons of energy!! Maybe they sensed the rain had fallen and there were fragrant smells awaiting ;-) They both did all of their business and gobbled up breakfast ;-) fresh water and treats and all is well with them and the hacienda!

First of all, Happy Birthday to my youngest niece Courtney who turns 16 today. (where does time go???) She is pictured on my website. If you are on the home page and watching the flash box, she will be the "little" girl who is holding her chihuahua Emmie. It's the 6th picture that will flash. I'm guessing I took the picture in 2004 which means Cook was 8. (seriously.... where does time go!!)
Sadie and Henry - they are doing just fine. Sadie has greeted me both visits by barking up a storm to let me know she is ready to come upstairs! She loves her bed too, huh? We sat on it together last night for awhile and I rubbed on her and she gave me kisses. This morning I let them both outside, fed them and then let them out again but as soon as Sadie took care of all of her business, she was ready to come back in and get on her bed. I must say, I miss your sweet old man, Zack. :) RIP cute boy.
Scoobie - It took Scoobie a few minutes to warm up to me today but he did and we went for our walk. He peed a bunch of times and he pooped too. I fed him too.
Harley & Gibby - someone decided to chew up the towel a little bit so I picked them up before I left this morning. I'm not sure if Gibby did it overnight or if it was done before Harley was crated for the night. Gibby of course is eating well and Harley is too for the most part. He finished all of his dinner last night and most of his breakfast this morning. Gibby is getting all of his medicine too.
Chester & Bailey - I saw them last night for the dinner visit. It was around 6pm and no one was there. :) Chester met me at the door and so we grabbed Bailey and went out back. After they did their business, they were ready for dinner!!

Harley & Gibby - they are doing just fine and they're getting used to me too. There was much less barking this morning. :) I let them out right away and fed them. Gibby ate, Harley nibbled. I let them back out for a little while and then they came in and Harley finished all of his breakfast too!
Rocky, Lucky, Maddie and Cotton - Lucky has enjoyed chasing sticks while Rocky snoops around the yard. The kitties enjoy meal time! haha!
Sadie and Henry - I won't post again today so since I don't see then until tonight, you can read about them Saturday morning.

Sweetie - I think Sweetie had a good weekend! She looks pretty comfy all tucked in for night night :) I know Shannon loved spending time with her, I did too. She makes me laugh when she gets all excited and runs around the back yard. I still think she sounds like a horse galloping when she runs!
Jackson - Jackson has been wearing his coat outside. It is cold and even with his coat on he comes back in shivering! We're spending some time on the couch and he's been getting some belly rubs. We've played some with his tennis ball too.
Cushing's Disease
I am procrastinating. Sam has a vet appointment in about 40 minutes. He hates going to the vet. His symptoms from his Cushing's disease are getting worse. (He was diagnosed in Nov 2010.) We decided to treat him holistically when he was first diagnosed. He was on Chinese herbs until we thought perhaps they weren't gentle enough on his stomach. So we took him off everything. Now I think we are going to put him on Trilostane. The vet wants to do some additional testing just to make certain something else isn't going on with him.
To make matters worse, I think he had a seizure last night. Bless the poor old guy's heart. Doggie prayer's for Sam would be much appreciated.
