the dog walker on Saturday 3/6

Jackson - he's just great!  A couple of times recently when I've gone over, he's been laying looking out the window.  So sweet!  He'll be really happy to see you, I know! Lucky, Rocky, Maddie and Cotton - I think Lucky must've pulled a little bit of stuffing out of her flea.  I found it on the floor and couldn't find anything that looked amiss so I'm assuming it came from her toy.

Holly - She enjoyed the walk this morning.  At first, she decided to roll in the grass.  Crazy dog!

Baby - she is the same as yesterday.  Her back legs still seem to be a little unstable but she is up walking around and rolling on the floor like she does - as if she is scratching her back. She is eating and using her box too.

the pet sitter on Friday 4/5

Jackson - it rained most of yesterday so we spent some time outside so he could do all of his business.  The rest of the time we hung out inside.  I don't think he cares what we're doing.  He just likes having me there! Lucky, Rocky, Maddie and Cotton - with all the rain, I've been wiping paws.  Lucky is hilarious and very well trained in giving her paws to be wiped off.  I had to laugh at her!

Jackson - On the way to your house this morning at 6:20am, it was sleeting.  No joke.  Sleet.  On April 4th.  My car said it was 44 degrees outside.  Crazy!  Jackson didn't care.  He went out to pee, came in ate his breakfast and gobbled down his pills.  We hung out inside then went back out again (the sleet had stopped) and he pooped. Lucky, Rocky, Maddie & Cotton - The rain had stopped by the time I got to your house.  I hope I'm as lucky the rest of the day but there is an 80% chance of rain today. :(  I've also started to feed the cats a little less b/c 2 days in a row now as I'm leaving, Lucky yesterday and Rocky this morning are at the cat bowls finishing what is left in the bowl.  I'll give the kitties a little extra snack during one of my non-feeding visits to make up for the food.

pet sitting on Wed 4/3

Hmmmm: 2 days ago, I shut my right index finger in my car door.  It is fine now.  This morning, I fell down some steps and rolled my left ankle.  I'm sitting with it propped up now under ice.  I've not ever done this before.... should be interesting but luckily I'm not taking Jackson, Lucky or Rocky on long walks.  Hanging out in the yard with them will be easy peasy :) Right about now, Id like to join Jackson on the sofa for the rest of the day!!! (see comment about my ankle above)

Jackson - he is doing great (better than me! :) )  He's loving taking all of his medicine and he's enjoying his time in the yard too.  He's funny though... he doesn't want to be out there by himself for long.  He has let me know that by barking at the gate if I try to sneak inside.  Silly guy!

Rocky is coming to play with us outside.

Rocky, Lucky, Maddie & Cotton - I hobbled up to the backyard to throw some sticks for Lucky this morning.  Rocky roamed around the backyard while we were out.  I fed everyone and scooped the litter box too.
