the dog walker on Saturday 7/20

Topsy and Elliott - we walked a little bit this morning.  E seemed fine to be out and she enjoyed sniffing around.  she even barked at another dog being walked!  Topsy was just curious about everything, including sticks! :) Gumbo  - LOL!  She has one walking speed, fast!!  I took her around the block.  By the time we got back, her legs were quivering so I will probably do a little shorter walks with her.  She is very social too.  She got all excited any time we saw someone else outside.

Max and Genny - Max is enjoying his time outside without his cone on!  Genny is enjoying barking at the squirrels. :)  Thanks for the fresh veggies.  I believe a couple of my neighbors might get a few cucumbers.  They are huge!

Maisy, Gracie, Simba, Scoobie - my next post is tomorrow morning and I've not seen these guys and girls yet (it's 8:55am.)

sweet Vivian

Ursa and Vivian (black) watching me drive away during a recent visit. Wesley and I recently pet sat for Vivian and Ursa and Vivian stopped eating this past Friday.  She just didn't seem to be acting quite right either so Wesley called Vivian's owners.  Upon their return, they took her to the vet to find that she has kidney failure.  Rest in peace sweet, sweet girl.  I will miss petting you and seeing your tail wag when I do.  Wesley and I have both been thinking about you these past several days.

the dog walker on Tues 7/10

Salem, Zoe and Steele - the dogs got a little extra long walk this morning.  We were rounding the corner to head back to your house and a dog came running down its driveway.  I'm sure they had invisible fence but I wasn't 100% certain and I wasn't sure what your dogs were going to do (and being pulled around at 6am wasn't my idea of a great time :) - I hadn't had any coffee yet) so we walked an extra block.  They didn't mind and I didn't either.  You have a great neighborhood for a dog walk!  Salem is doing just fine too.  My last visit to day will be around 2:30-ish if you want to let your mom know.

the dog walker on Tues 7/9

Steele, really enjoying his afternoon nap! apparently Salem was thirsty!

sweet Zoe after one of our walks

Salem, Steele and Zoe - your crew is keeping me entertained!!  When I walked up yesterday afternoon, they didn't hear me and I was laughing at Steele sleeping upside down.  High-larious!!  Zoe was zonked out too on the other bed.  Once I got in, the glass water bowl was empty so while refilling it, Salem jumped up and helped himself to some water.  More laughter from me!  I took the dogs on a short walk yesterday afternoon, again last night when I got there and a longer one this morning.  They are enjoying their walks and I've learned that Zoe is a pooping machine. :)  They are all doing great and we're having fun hanging out.

Last night I finally figured out how to turn the channels on the tv in the kitchen.  It was on ESPN the night before and I love most sports but I'm not a huge baseball fan and that's what has been on.  I wanted to watch ABC but I couldn't find that channel.  I tried figuring out the tv in the den but even with your full page instructions, I couldn't get it to come on.  I am a typical female... challenged when it comes to figuring out remotes.  No worries tho!!
