pet sitting on Saturday 6/2

Madison wishing I would put the camera down and pet her! When I got to Gingers house on Tuesday, Steve was there. He was going to his brothers later that day so I took them both for a walk!! :)

Madison & Murphy - your housekeeper came yesterday and everything looks really nice!  However, I couldn't find the cat brush.  Ugh!  I looked around but didn't see it.  I think it must be with the lids for the cat food cans too - I couldn't find those either.  They're probably both right under my nose.  I thought Madison was going to crawl in my lap but she was just crossing over to the other side of the chair arm.  They both got lots of rubbing.

the 2 glowing things are the owls eyes.

Molly - She is doing just great.  We've walked every visit.  For the last visit last night, we had an owl hissing / whistling at us.  It was sitting on top of the house next door (see photo).  As I was driving away, there was another owl on the electrical wires above the driveway.  We didn't stay outside too long last night (just long enough for Molly to pee) and I stayed very close to her.  The weather is nice and cool this morning - great weather for a dog walk so we did!!

cat sitting on Fri 6/1

Madison and Murphy - they are doing fine although someone threw up on the rug in the kitchen yesterday.  It cleaned up easily.  I did notice that the plastic bag with the hershey kisses in it had been chewed on and it looked like one of the chocolates had been nibbled a little bit too.  You either have a mouse (doubtful with those 2 cats!!) or one of the cats was bored.  I put the kisses in a HT bag and put them in the pantry.  They have been highly interested in dinner time so I don't think the chocolate did any harm.  Madison has been playing a good bit and they both have liked getting brushed.

cat sitting on Tues 5/29

Madison & Murphy - They are doing just great and it sounds like Wesley loved her visits with them!  Last night when I was there, after they ate, I played with Madison while attempting to brush Murphy at the same time.  That took some coordination and I'm not so sure I was very good at doing both at the same time!  I checked for accidents and so far so good... looks like Murphy has been content to go in the box! :)

pet sitting

The blog will not be updated until Tues 5/29.  If you would like an update from your pet sitter, please contact her directly or contact me (I will occasionally be checking email and vm) and we'll be happy to let you know how everything is.  Each pet sitter has your contact information so if she needs to reach you (or me), she can.  Thanks so much and have a safe and Happy Memorial Day. AND congratulations to my oldest nephew Andy who is graduating from high school tomorrow!!!! :)

pet sitting on Sunday 5/20

Sparky after she has been zooming around the yard. Sparky - Her little face was in the window this morning when I got there.  I was disposing of the mouse that was still around... I was hoping that nature would take its course and some hawk would carry it off but no luck.  She gobbled down her breakfast and then was ready to start her morning patrol of the yard!

Bailey waiting for me to throw the ball and Chester is in the background sniffing around.

Chester & Bailey - Bailey spent the last part of the visit searching for the ball.  It is somewhere in the tree line.... hopefully not over the fence but she looked for quite awhile and never found it.  Ugh!  It was the lighter ball too... I hope we can find it next visit!  They are doing just fine and all three of us are loving this cooler weather!

pet sitting on Sat 5/19

Sparky - I got to your house last night and Sparky made the loop around the house.  Then she ran into the middle of the front yard and grabbed her "toy."  Although from where I was standing, it didn't look like her yellow tennis ball toy thing.  I could tell by her behavior though she was very proud of it and it was hers!  Well... it was a dead mouse.  And she'd given me a couple of kisses.  Yuck!  I don't normally mind kisses but not with dead mouse breath. :)  haha!!  Luckily her empty tummy won over her desire to hang out with the mouse so I fed her and then we played some in the back yard!  She was just fine this morning too.... choosing to eat breakfast before scoping out the yard. Max and Genny - they were just fine last night although they barked a lot when they were outside.  The weather was great and lots of people were out so I think they just wanted to say hi to everyone!  This morning Genny had to bark at a squirrel too!

Hadley & Ollie - I let them out this morning and Ollie had a hard time finding his ball... I could tell he was getting a little anxious about it.  He did find one though.... shew!!  I fed them both breakfast before I left.

Chester & Bailey - won't update til tomorrow since I don't see them for awhile yet today (it is 9am now.)

Suki & Yuki - I don't think you read the blog but if you do, I probably won't update their visit since you'll get home and read the note before I blog again tomorrow morning.  Just wanted you to know in case you do check in here!
