dog and cat sitting on Sunday 11/25

Looks like they want somethings.... a treat maybe? :) Max and Genny - Max and Genny are always fun! They stared at me when I was writing your note, forgetting that we had already done the "treat thing"!!! They must reaaally live in the moment ;-) Love it! They ate dinner and did their business...then M tried to EAT Gs "business" ! Ick!

Lincoln - Shannon's note:  Lincoln couldn't decide whether he wanted some love, dinner or to pp first tonight!! We had a good walk where he trotted and sniffed, then did his business! He gave me the pitiful face when our time was over- KILLS ME!!!

Sparky - I did go by early this morning to let her out and feed her but then I put her back inside.  It was 27 so I thought too cold to leave her out.  I will go back mid-morning and let her back out.

Lucky, Rocky, Maddie and Cotton - I should've asked you if you were feeding them this morning.  I'm guessing you did but wasn't 100% so I gave them each a little bit of food.  I let the dogs out and Lucky wanted to chew sticks!

dog and cat sitting on Saturday 11/24

Sweetie - she had an extra long visit yesterday at lunch time.  I was hungry so I got take out chinese and ate it outside in your backyard while Sweetie roamed around.  We took our walk after that and we walked!  I needed it after take out chinese! :) Coco, Dallas, Bailey & Poet - they're doing just fine.  Bailey has been making an appearance although not for long whenever she sees me.  Bailey has been out and about with us and comes running when I feed them.  The dogs are doing just fine too!  When I got there last night, one of the toys had lost some of its stuffing.  I guess Dallas was playing!

Sparky - she is just fine.  I did leave her outside this morning.  My car said it was 41 so I figured she'd prefer to be outside.

Lucky, Rocky, Maddie & Cotton - I noticed that Lucky was limping yesterday. I don't know what she did but I've not been throwing any sticks for her and I don't think she can figure out why.  It is her front right leg (I think right, not left.  Definitely front leg.)  She seems fine and wants to play but I'm trying to get her to take it easy.

Domino and Louie - they're just fine.  Louie was outside this morning when I got there.  I'm thinking he may have stayed out all night long.  He didn't hear me come in... he was curled up sleeping in the grass.  He looked pretty cute.  I did leave him outside this morning.  Of all the dogs I see, I think he can handle the cold better than any of them!

Here are Shannon's notes:

Chester and Bailey are well today! They have an extra kick in their step this morning (from the cold I think)! Ive built in more snuggle time for each visit this trip- they seem to be enjoying it! P.S. Bailey has burped a lot this morning!

Lincoln was waiting for me at the door last night. I assumed he must need to pp, but when I opened the door to let him out he just looked at me! Turns out he was more excited for din din! He's doing well...but misses you guys a lot!
Max and Genny are sweeter than ever! They were perfectly quiet when I arrived last night, and greeted me at the door, tails wagging! Poor Max and the cone of shame!! They ate dinner and made their potties ;-)
Lo and Sprinkles are okay this trip...they keep trying to see each other when I open Lo's door :-( pitiful! Sprinkles is pottying normally but Lo had an empty box for yesterdays visit! I hope to find something to scoop today (sat). :-).  9am Sunday: Shannon just called me and said that Lo had peed quite a bit and pooped in her box when she went by this morning. :)
Wesley's notes:Otis and Lola had a baby bird confused and it flew around every time the dogs and I walked back and forth!  I was just sneezing b/c of feathers flying around.

Lola one eye and Otis two eyed!

pet sitting on Friday 11/23

2 dogs named Lincoln this weekend.  One being seen by Shannon and the other by Wesley.... not to confuse anyone. :)  Also, notes for Baby, Lo and Sprinkles won't be posted til tomorrow since we've not seen them yet today. Sweetie - I love the way her whole body wiggles when she's excited.  She is so cute!  She has been enjoying her walks and meal time!

Not a great picture.... but theyre doing well!

Coco and Dallas - they are doing just fine.  Coco has warmed up to me and has even been walking a little bit.  She did miss part of the potty pad when she pooped.  I just used a little bit of water to get it up but the spots (they are small) will need more work when you get home.  Dallas is loving his walks and I'm loving walking him.  I am getting my exercise which is great after all that turkey yesterday! :)

Sparky - I am probably going to add extra visits on Saturday and Sunday.  I'd not looked ahead to the weather but lows are supposed to be in the 20's as of tomorrow morning I think.  I don't want to leave her outside so early in the morning when it is that cold.

Lucky... loving being outside!

Happy cats!!

Lucky, Rocky, Maddie & Cotton - they are great (and so far, so in the couch!)  I'm checking to make certain the towels are still covering it.  Rocky must've slept there overnight because I had to straighten the towels again this morning. :)

My newest, biggest client Louie!

Louie & Domino - they are both just fine.  Domino has been sleeping.  He did just fine this morning and waited to pee until we got outside.  I fed them both and they enjoyed their wet food.  I think they're both saving the hard food for later.

sweet girl Bailey

Chester & Bailey - they are doing very well!  We have walked, played out back and even played fetch with Baileys pink legs!!  Both are eating and potttying, and Chester is getting his pill each meal!  All is well at home!

Lincoln - here is Shannon's note:  He very much wants to "show" me something in H's old bedroom!  He grabs his chew and walks me back there- he's such a sweet boy!  We took a walk and he took care of business.  I gave him 2 pills with dinner :-) I TRIED to get a pic of the boy but he kept turning his head!  Maybe next visit :-)

All is well at your house. Wesley said of this picture: Lincoln after 50 takes! Its a great one... worth her effort!!

Lola and Otis - Wesley's note:  there was lots of petting going on.  They were happy to see me.
Turkey Lurkey - she is great.  She's been following me outside, it is so nice outside.  I'm guessing she might stay inside more tomorrow and Sunday when it turns colder!

If pets could talk

If dogs and cats could talk, this is what I imagine they'd tell me they are thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday: Chester - belly rubs

Bailey - tennis balls

Sparky - breakfast... and dinner.. and the outdoors

Sweetie - long walks

Lucky - chasing sticks in the yard

Rocky - sniffing around in the yard

Maddie & Cotton - when the pet sitter comes and feeds us

Turkey Lurkey - her cat door

and my crew:

Willow - long walks with her dad and stuffed toys

Sam - going for walks and having a storm door to look out

Buddy - I think Buddy is most thankful for me and that is the best feeling in the world :)

dog and cat sitting on Thanksgiving Day 2012

Chester & Bailey - here is Shannon's note from this morning (and thanks to Shannon for sending it so early!!): The monsters are well this Thanksgiving holiday!  They were super excited to see me yesterday-Bailey almost bowling me over when she came shooting out of her crate!  Its been awhile since Ive seen them!  Chester was in a deep sleep last night, I had to call his name a few times and then I rubbed his belly- ahhh...love me some Chester Bear!  All is well at the hacienda! Sparky this morning just after eating her Thanksgiving breakfast!

Sparky - Sparky has been full of energy on our visits.  She has been really happy to see me when I pull up and I have learned to not pull up too far into the driveway.  Yesterday she greeted me with both front paws on my car door!  LOL!  (The door is fine.)

Sweetie - I took her for a short walk this morning.  It was really early and dark so we didn't go too far.  She peed 2x.  I just let her run around out back last night.  I fed her breakfast this morning.

Rocky, Lucky, Maddie and Cotton - they're all just great.  Lucky was full of energy this morning so I thew a bunch of sticks for her.  Rocky was roaming around in the leaves too. I couldn't see him but I could hear the leaves crunching underneath his feet!

She was walking over to me so I could pet her.

Turkey Lurkey - she is doing great.  She has let me pet her quite a bit and I've decided she is a social eater.  She always eats while I'm at your house! LOL!

Wesley's note:  Peach, Roxy and Mini make the sweetest sounds when I go to feed them.  Ashley, Ollie & Lincoln are good.  Ashley and Ollie play when they come in from outside.  Neville and Clemmie have been greeting me in the driveway when I come up.

If you are a client who is leaving later today, I will not post about your pets until Friday morning.  I'm just posting once / day to the blog, after my round of early morning visits.
