Sadie and Millie - your snake ignoring dogs (see last post) are both doing great. I wish I hadn't seen the snake!! Millie loves greeting me at the door each evening visit and I hear her waking up in her crate each morning when I walk in. She snarfs down her food and Sadie is eating well too just not as fast as M. :) Hampton and Blitten - see my last post re: the snake I saw on another visit last night around 8pm. So... I can't get this snake out of my head. While taking Hampton out midday today, he was doing some sniffing and he jumped at a leaf beside him. When he jumped, I jumped and screamed (luckily it wasn't very loud.) Because of a leaf! Needless to say, I'm a little jumpy!
let's hope it is another 5.5 years....
until I see another snake. I see dead ones in the road occasionally. Last year I remember seeing a very small one that slithered past me when I was out walking a dog but it was really tiny. However, last night for the first time in my dog walking career I saw a big SNAKE. It was a black one (I know that they're safe but that doesn't mean I have to like them!) I was walking Millie and Sadie and luckily they never saw it. When I noticed the snake it had frozen so he must've seen us first. I actually wondered if it was a kid's toy b/c it looked weird to me. It wasn't serpentine like (it wasn't in a s-shape) but more like a zig zag. I stared at it for a minute then moved on and when I turned around, it was gone. It had slithered into the grass. I still shiver when I think about it. Please let me not see another one for another 5.5 years. My heart can't take it. Really. #proudthatididn'tscream

Blitten and Hampton - they are both great. Hampton is enjoying all his walks and he has been very well behaved when we've seen joggers and bicycles. I've been feeding Blitten 3x/day and she hasn't had any more incidents of upset tummy. Fingers crossed. :) Sadie and Millie - the crazy girls met me at the door last night. I fed them and took them for a walk. This morning, I let them run around the yard after breakfast. I tossed the ball a few times for Millie too.

Blitten and Hampton - they are both just great. Hampton heard me at 6:30am when I drove up this morning - he was barking in the window at me. Last night on our walk, there were tons of lightning bugs out. It was pretty cool! Blitten is eating well and he doesn't seem to have an upset tummy anymore.

Ginger -Ginger is loving her walks. Both dogs I'm walking right now LOVE their walks. She enjoyed lots of sniffing and I've been letting her out in the backyard too. Last night she grabbed one of her toys before she went out so we played with it.
Blitten and Hampton - I cut back a little bit on Blitten's wet food this morning since he'd thrown up yesterday. If he has eaten it all when I go midday, I'll give the rest to him. He did eat all of the dry food I gave him last night and I didn't see any accidents this morning. Hampton did lots of sniffing and peeing on his walk! :) No surprise there! I gave him all his meds this morning too. My dog Buddy is on trilostane too - I'm very familiar with it, shaking it before giving it, etc.

Jay and Chloe - they'll be happy to see you. Jay and I played outside this morning while Chloe sat at the back door. I made the mistake of sitting down on one of the deck chairs - it was covered in dew. :( I fed them both and scooped Chloe's box.
