Sunday 12/13 dog walking and dog & cat sitting

Hadley, Ollie & Daisy - Everyone slept well last night.  When I got to the house, I threw the ball a few times for Ollie and Hadley went chasing after it too.  Daisy went outside and took care of her business but she seemed to prefer being inside while the crazy boys played outside in the really cold temperatures.  Ollie stayed in the room with me last night, about 3pm he joined me on the bed and then he was ready to get up just before 6am.  He must've known I'd set the alarm for 6:10... he was just a little early. Grace - We walked again this morning and she really seemed to enjoy herself.  She didn't mind the wet weather at all... I was just glad the temperatures were above freezing!!  She'd eaten all of her food so I refilled her bowl, gave her fresh water and a scoop of yogurt for her dessert!

Sam, Riley & Max - our routine:  open the bedroom door, the dogs go charging towards the back door, Christmas tree needles fall on the floor, I finally catch up to the dogs at the backdoor and let them out.  I quickly fill their bowls with food, give Sam his meds and by this time they're barking at the back door.  I open the door and they race to their food, slipping and sliding on the wood floor.  While they eat, I feed Max and clean out his box.  Max had eaten all of his food too!  They're funny and I'm laughing as I write this!

Eli, Peyton & Chaos - they were all ready to go outside.  Everybody peed and Eli pooped.  They'd eaten all of their food (they'd eaten all of it last night too) so someone (or two or all three of them) is/are hungry.  Peyton is limping.  I'd noticed it on my first visit but it wasn't very pronounced.  It was this morning.... I'm guessing whatever is injured must get stiff overnight.  She seems okay but she is definitely limping and it's her back right leg.  She doesn't want to put any weight on it at times so I'm not really sure if it is her leg or her foot.  Chaos really shivered when she was outside this morning.... it was really cold!

the pet sitter on Saturday 12/12

I think Chaos, Peyton & Eli are waiting for a treat! Eli, Peyton and Chaos - the girls were all just fine this morning.  I took Eli and Peyton outside twice and they both peed and pooped.  Chaos peed while she was out.  Eli greeted me when I came in but Peyton and Chaos were still sleeping in the red room... I had to go looking for them.  2nd & 3rd visits - they enjoyed getting outside.  Both Eli and Peyton tried walking towards the driveway... I think they wanted to go for a walk.

Hadley, Ollie & Daisy - They all seemed to be just fine.  I let them out twice and I fed them too.  I made a note to grab a tennis ball for Ollie which I just remembered to do so I'll give it to him on my next visit.  2nd visit - they all enjoyed their dinner and I threw the ball for Ollie so he was a happy guy!

Sam, Riley & Max - Max came down from upstairs and met me as I came in.  The dogs were ready to go outside and then eat their breakfast.  I let them back out again before I left.  evening visit - they're all doing just fine!

Grace Ann - We went for a walk and just as you said, she peed several times.  She seemed to enjoy getting out and we were lucky... it wasn't raining yet.  I was surprised by the Christmas music one of your neighbors was playing which I enjoyed during our walk!

Cat and dog sitting and dog walking on Fri 12/11

Today is going to be a busy one :)  Be sure to scroll down through the post to find your pet. Max is coming over to me to get some attention too!

I managed to capture a picture of Riley when he was stationary... although he didnt stay like this for very long!

Sam, Riley & Max - Max greeted me again today at the door.  He even meowed at me.  He still had plenty of food (although I did give him a few treats) and I cleaned out his box.  Sam & Riley are still passing the piece of the bone that is left between them.  I took the picture of Riley while Sam had the bone and was laying on his bed.  2nd visit:  I was in the area so I stopped by at lunch time.  I'm glad I did.  Both dogs pooped and they're still caring around that chunk of bone :)

Daisy, Ollie and Hadley - they were all doing just fine.  Ollie couldn't find his ball..... he was definitely searching for it.  I left them in the house.  It was 32 degrees outside.  2nd visit:  they all went outside and peed.  Hadley was eating grass and Ollie still couldn't find a ball :(  I will go feed them shortly and I probably won't post a note afterwards.

Annabelle, Amos, Eenie, Brutus and Maxine - all the kitties were present and accounted for this morning.  Annabelle did go over to the sliding glass door and look at me as if she wanted me to open it but I didn't.  I'm sure she would've been fine to be outside but it was cold so I didn't let her out.  The toy with the feather on the end is broken.  I found it in 2 separate pieces... I tried to fix it but I am not mecanically inclined so I wasn't successful.  They're all doing just fine!

Maggie - Maggie wanted to bring her own Christmas tree home today.  She was walking along and picked a branch from a pine tree and carried it.  She was pretty funny!

Sweet Pea has some funny expressions. She is really cute!

Magnus is very patiently waiting for a treat.

Sweet Pea and Magnus - Magnus was very excited to see me and Sweet Pea barked.  I took them both for a walk and everyone took care of all of their business.

Max - Max woke right up when I went in today.  We went outside and he peed.

Betty & Suzy - One of the neighbor's dogs was out running around.  It was a small long haired chihuahua and it came walking towards us.  I turned the dogs around.... I just figured that'd be easier :)

Dusty - Dusty pranced around as usual.  He is so funny though... once we get close to the house he speeds up.  I think he knows it is dinner time!

Pet sitting with Max, Riley & Sam

Riley had been zooming around the hard like a crazy dog. He was trying to entice Sam to play (it didnt work.) I didnt realized Id gotten Sams nose in the picture too! Max greeted me at the door and Riley and Sam were barking from the bedroom when I came in.  I let the boys outside and filled their food so it'd be ready for them.  I wasn't fast enough... they were barking at the backdoor before I got over there to open it for them!  I didn't see Max again... he usually hangs out with us some but the boys were crazy so maybe that is why he disappeared.  Riley was very excited about the chunk of bone he had left and Sam was REALLY interested in sniffing me.  Perhaps he'd like to meet some of the girl dogs I'd seen earlier :)

the dog walker on Thurs 12/10

Maggie - Maggie enjoyed her walks as always.  She tried to pick up and carry a brown paper bag but I caught her just in time :)  I know her tricks at this point! Max - He was sleeping hard again today when I came in.  I pet him for awhile and he got up and we went outside.

Betty & Suzy - They did really well on their walk today.  They're smart and are catching on to walking with me at a heel pretty quickly.

Cat Sitting on Thurs 12/10

Eenie is enjoying her breakfast this morning. Brutus is mesmorized by the toy!

Maxine and Amos are watching Brutus play.

Annabelle cant decide if she wants to go in the kitchen and eat some more or come and play with us!

They are all still doing just great and Annabelle was in the house when I left.  She meowed at me once so I walked towards the door to see if she wanted to go out.  I stood there for a minute and talked to her but she didn't come to the door.  I think she was just saying hi to me.

Guess who played today with the string with the feather on the end?  Amos, Annabelle, Maxine and of course Brutus :)  Amos actually came over to play and when he did both Maxine and Brutus backed away.  It didn't last long though.... and then Brutus played some more.  Annabelle was sitting really close by so I put it in front of her and she took a few swats at it too.

Eenie actually came in to eat while I was in the kitchen so that is progress too.   She must've gone back to sleep after she ate.  I didn't see her again.
