Dog walking on Fri 12/18 in the snow???
No snow yet. It did sleet for just a little while this morning but it stopped and I've been lucky so far today. It hasn't rained while I've been outside walking dogs either! Maggie - She doesn't mind the cold weather. She is just as curious as ever and enjoys taking it all in. She got to see Don on our morning walk. She got all excited and jumped around.
Max - Max went outside for his potty break and then he was happy to go back inside to sleep.
Sam & Buddy - I may have spoken to soon.... I think it is raining now. Buddy is snoring behind me as I'm typing this. I'm sure once he walks up, he is going to think it's time for his afternoon walk.
Hanna - no snow but LOTS of rain and guess what I'd figured out. Hanna doesn't love the rain. I also can't find her favorite toy. It was raining so hard we couldn't have played outsdie anyway but I looked for it and didn't see it....
Dog walking on Thurs 12/17
Today I walked Maggie two times, Brady & Ferguson (they didn't walk so much as play today), Max (well... it wasn't really a walk but we did go outside), Reagan and Dusty. And of course Sam and Buddy got their 2 walks today too.
Dog walking on Wed 12/16
Maggie - Maggie got to see the stray orange tabby (from a distance) and that really got her excited. Then she got to see a puppy (also from a distance) which was also really exciting to her. Needless to say, she had 2 good walks today! Max - Max's routine: sleep, stretch, walk outside pee, sniff, come back inside, lay down on his bed.
Cleo - Cleo looked at the penguins today but she didn't bark at them. She pretty much ignored them after she initially checked them out. I'd love to know what she is thinking.
Dusty - Dusty pranced around the neighborhood and did quite a bit of sniffing.
Dog walking on Tues 12/15
Maggie - Maggie had a great time on both of her walks today. This afternoon she got to greet the neighborhood kids after they got off the school bus. Several of them came over and said hello to her.
Lucy - Lucy walked really well this morning. She pulled on the leash a little bit at first but then we settled into a nice pace and she walked right by my side. She is funny though.... I swear she understands when we turn around and head back towards your house. She always speeds up!
Brady & Ferguson - I know you mentioned they were going to get groomed soon. After today's visit, they might need it a little more. Rain, mud, new mulch and white dogs don't necessarily go together. Both dogs had to roll around on their backs in the grass. Ferguson even rolled down the grassy slope. Crazy puppies!
Max - Max was snoozing good again today. I always get a little jealous when I see him sleeping so good. He stretched a couple of times and then he got up to go outside.
Cleo - She had me laughing today. I rarely hear her bark and today when she step outside she stopped and I hear "woof..... woof." Not real loud but a definite "woof." I look and she is staring at the 3 penguin Christmas decorations across the street. So, we went over to check them out. She is standing in the middle of the street and she did the same thing.... "woof, gggrrrrr woof." She was hilarious... I was laughing (and your neighbors probably think I am nuts!) :)
Dog walking on Mon 12/14
Maggie - She was full of energy this morning. She tried running and then she wanted to eat pretty much anything she could find. She was funny. She was most interested in sniffing me on our afternoon walk!
Brady & Ferguson - We walked around the circle and one of the guys working stopped to say hello to them... twice. I think it made their day.
Max - Max went outside and peed and then was ready to come back inside. He curled up on his bed as soon as he came in.
Cleo - Cleo wanted to take a long walk today. I'd say it was one of our longest ever. I think she really enjoys this cooler weather. She was really funny in the house too. She went over and pounced on her bone and then marched upstairs with it. She likes her tennis ball too!
Dusty - We walked around the circle today and Dusty did a lot of sniffing. He even started to walk up the stairs to somone's house... not his! I think he was just being social.
