the dog walker on Tuesday March 9
Hero - I can tell he went for a long walk yesterday... he still seemed tired this morning. He did pee several times! Brady & Ferguson - The boys got to say hello to two different people today and they were loving it! They're so funny! Brady ate quite a bit once we got back in the house.
Louis & Sunny - Sunny is LOVING this weather. He would just stare up into the sky squinting.... he looked like he was trying to work on his suntan.
Max - Max walked around a good bit today but he didn't really pee very much. I didn't see any accidents in the house either.
Cleo - As soon as we walked outside, she walked across the street and then just rolled over on her back. I think she was trying to work on her tan. She did get up and we walked to the park and back.
Dusty - he trotted around the circle today and then headed straight for the door and his dinner!
Dog Walking on Monday 3/8
It feels like springtime! Hero - he enjoyed his walk today. It was in the mid-40s so it was warmer than it has been.
Brady & Ferguson - I used the boy's new leashes today when I walked them. They did pretty well walking around the circle. They both pooped too.
Louis & Sunny - I didn't have to put coats on either one of them for once. Sunny wasn't shivering and I actually got warm. Sunny pooped, Louis didn't.
Max - Max even enjoyed the sunshine today. He spent a little bit of time walking around and sniffing outside.
Cleo - I thought Cleo might be in the mood to walk today but she really wasn't. She rolled around on her back a couple of times and that was about it today!
Dusty - Dusty is glad to be home.
Dog running with Buddy
I am hoping that this will be a more frequent post: dog running! The weather was nice enough today (although not as warm as I was hoping) so Buddy and I got in a dog run. I got a chance to work with him one on one as well which was nice. I am looking into enrolling Buddy in a Therapy Dog class. He can be shy so I'm not sure how he'll do but I think it will be good training for him regardless. I just spoke with Yvonne Fehr (www.YvonneFehr.com) who is a dog trainer that has worked with Buddy. She thinks Therapy Dog training would be great for Buddy. Yah!!
Dog walking on Sunday 3/7
Sib & Huski - Sib's head came out from underneath the door when I opened it this morning. I had to laugh. We went for a walk right away and then we came back so I could give them a little more food and give Huski her medicine. Sib was actually running a little bit this morning he was so excited. Huski tried but bless her heart her old legs were pretty stiff.
Hero - He enjoyed his walk this morning. It is getting warmer out... 43 when we walked today. It almost feels like spring time!
Pet sitting on Saturday March 6
Sweetie - she was ready to go out this morning. She peed for what seemed like a minute (it probably wasn't really that long :) ) and then we went inside. I fed her but she didn't eat anything. We went back outside and she peed again and then she wanted to eat grass. I'm not certain if she does that or if she maybe has an upset tummy? She acted just fine though and she took her treat from when too. She looked like she'd slept well too... that's a nice little set up for her! Sib & Huski - I'm on my way over at 8:30am and then I am booked back to back until later this afternoon. If you need to be aware of anything, I will email you. If you don't hear, then I will post my note (and hopefully a picture or two :) later today.
Dog walking on Friday 3/5
Sib & Huski - Sib barked at me when I opened the garage today :) He was being a very good watchdog. They both were excited for their walk... I didn't see a collar for Huski so I used the leash as a collar. Is it in the garage somewhere and I missed it? She has worms... I'm not sure if you know that or not. Same kind as before. She was really good to take her pills today. Hero - Hero took me on a different route today. It always makes me wonder what they're thinking!
Brady & Ferguson - they got to see Benjamin and Frankie today. Benjamin was really interested in both of them, Frankie just wanted to bark at them.
Sunny & Louis - Sunny was sporting his pink sweater today out on the walk. He seemed to enjoy all the sunshine and he walked the whole visit today!
Max - Max was awake when I came in although he was fairly groggy. He did get up and go outside to pee.
