dog walking on Saturday 5/15
Benjamin, Frankie & PJ - Well, Benjamin was my alarm clock this morning. Must've been about 5:30am and his front paws land on the bed.... luckily I was facing the other direction. :) They both slept in the room with me, Ben in the bathroom on the tile floor. I'm guessing it is cool and feels good to him. PJ is doing just fine too.
Max & Genny - Is your neighbor's dog new? I don't remember them having a dog but Genny sure was talking to her this morning! I corralled her back inside... it was early for a lot of barking!
Homer & Easter - I left them outside with both of the metal bowls filled with water. (After I fed Easter in the metal bowl, I filled it up.) It is hot still but it is overcast and I thought they'd enjoy some time outside before bedtime. They were both really thirsty while I was there so I also thought they might need to pee again too. :)
Dog walking on Thurs 5/14
Winston - the new love of my life..... what a cutie. He was very sleepy when I first got there but after about 10 minutes he woke up and then everything became a chew toy, including my shoulder! I quickly grabbed his toys. We played outside with his ball too. I attempted a walk but he was much more interested in just chewing on his leash so there really wasn't much of a walk!
George & Alex - the boys were very good today. I like Alex's new harness although I'm not certain Alex likes it. He didn't come to me right away when I grabbed his leash which is very unusual. He did though and after he wiggled a lot while I was putting it on, I did get it on and we went for a walk and he did just fine with it.

Benjamin, Frankie & PJ - everyone seems to be doing well although Benjamin didn't want to eat his breakfast so I put it on the counter. I didn't want Frankie to eat them both! I will give it to him when I go back at lunchtime.
Dog walking on Wed 5/12
Suki & Yuki - we ran into one of your neighbors this morning who has 2 dogs. They dogs didn't actually meet to say hello. We kept them about 10 feet apart but it was a very good test for all of them to see who would behave. :) Suki did great. She basically ignored the other dogs. Yuki did fairly well. He was definitely interested in the other dogs, sometimes acting like he just wanted to say hello but 1 or 2 times he did get a little aggressive. When he did that, I asked him to sit which he did. Once he came after me but with a quick correction he stopped right away and he didn't do it again. Overall I think he did very well... and I certainly think he "gets" it. Dusty - Dusty is all taken care of for today!

Suki & Yuki - We had nice visits last night and this morning. Both visits we walked (Yuki pooped again this morning) and they both ate some of their dry food. Last night Yuki put himself to bed before I was even ready to leave. I had to go and get him out of his crate..... maybe he was just thinking I'd give him a treat. :) They've been really sweet. We even saw a couple of other dogs this morning and they were interested but didn't bark at them or at each other either. I was impressed! 2nd and 3rd visits: they're still doing just fine. They both ate all of their dinner and they've enjoyed their walks today. We've gotten lucky and have been in between the rain showers.
Casper - Casper and I must be living right or something. There were a lot of dark clouds around so I decided we'd better take a long walk while we could. We did. As soon as I left your house on my way to my next dog walk (Lucy, yellow lab who loves to walk far), it started to pour. Casper and I played a little bit before we went for our walk, he drank a little bit of water and he peed while we were outside.
Brady & Ferguson - Brady certainly looks sleepy in the picture above and after her peed, did just a little sniffing while Ferguson laid down in the grass, he turned around and headed for home. I spent most of the visit with Fergie in my lap and then Brady decided to climb on the pillow behind me.
Lucy - Lucy was my first non-white dog walk of the day. She is yellow...so she was close! It was raining pretty hard so our walk was a little shorter today. She peed 2x and then I think she was fine to come back inside so she could chew on her kong!
Steve - he has gotten really big! I still just want to laugh at the way his fur jiggles when he walks. It is so cute!
Sunny, Louis and Lola - one yellow/brown dog, one brown/red dog and another white dog! I walked all of them together. I wish someone would've had my camera to take a picture of that! I'm not quite adept at managing 3 retractable leashes though!
Max - I think Max would've preferred to stay asleep but he did get up to go outside and pee.
Cleo - Miss Cleo was in the mood to walk today although once she tried to roll over on her back. I didn't let her. It'd been raining and she would've gotten soaked.... and dirty!
Buster and Cisco - I did see Buster on the porch. He jumped down when I opened the door so I didn't get him inside but there was a Buster sighting! I fed Cisco his canned food and I put more dry food outside. (There was still quite a bit out there.)
Dog walking on Monday 5/10
Suki & Yuki - They are both doing just great. We've had 2 nice walks today and they have been very well behaved. They both gobbled down their dinner (they sure do like their wet food) and Yuki did finish first but he stayed away from Suki until she finished. Of course, then they had to lick each others bowls!
