Dog walking on Monday 3/15

Ferguson looked sleepy today! Brady & Ferguson - the boys were sleepy this morning.  They both went outside and pooped and we got to see one of your neighbors which made them happy.  When we came back inside, Fergie ate his breakfast but Brady only had a few bites.

Fillmore looks ready for a little snooze after his breakfast, walk and playtime!

Fillmore - Fillmore was ready for his breakfast this morning and then he was happy when we went for our walk!  2nd walk:  it is beautiful today.  We both enjoyed our midday walk!

Sunny & Louis - The sun was shining brightly when we were outside today and both of the dogs liked it!

Max - Max was awake when I came in today.  He went outside and peed and then was ready to come back inside.

Cleo - Ms Cleo's tummy was gurgling today.  Of course, when she was outside she just wanted to eat grass.  We did walk a little ways but not too far today.

Cute, sweet Allie-girl

Allie & Tilly - Tilly sat at the back door the entire time Allie & I were in the backyard.   She wanted out too!

Dog walking on Sunday 3/14

I think Fillmore is a happy guy! He certainly makes me laugh! Fillmore and I enjoyed a nice walk around the block after he ate his breakfast.  When we got back to the house, he did the same thing as yesterday, he went running into the den to find his toys.  Then he ran around the den like a crazy dog!  haha!!  2nd/3rd visits:  this is pretty much the routine.... he runs around and wants to play once we come back inside!

Maisy & Gracie - we had a thunderstorm last night while I was at your house.  Maisy ate a little bit of her dinner but then she decided she preferred being under the kitchen table.  When I got there this morning, she'd eaten all of her food (or Gracie ate it....?)  I'm guessing Maisy ate it though.  She's been excited everytime I feed her.  Both of them ate all of their breakfast this morning, Maisy peed and Gracie peed and pooped.  2nd visit:  We stayed outside in the yard for the entire visit.  Maisy ended up laying down and Gracie did a bunch of sniffing! Hero - Hero got spooked today by a bird and that happened not too long after we left.  He would've come back inside then if I'd let him but we walked a little bit more.

Fillmore - We went for a walk around the block and Fillmore was happy to be out.  We were walking behind another dog and he really wanted to catch up to them.... he was pulling me along.  I had him "sit" (so the other dog would walk far enough in front of us) and that worked great.  Fillmore sat the entire time until I told him it was okay to get up.  He ran around like a crazy dog when we got back to the house too.... he had me laughing!  He pooped on the walk too!  2nd visit:  we went for a walk up and down the street and then I fed Fillmore.  He was definitely eat!

Sweet Gracie is saying pet me! Gracie & Maisy - There was very little barking when I came in today.  They were both ready to go outside so they peed and then came back in to eat their breakfast.  They both ate and then I took them out again.  Maisy pooped and when we came back inside Gracie wanted to play.  I tossed her stuffed toy a few times and Maisy even came downstairs to watch.  She wanted to play.... I could tell.  At least she joined us!  2nd visit:  We all went outside and Maisy and I walked around.  They both peed and then I put Maisy on the long lead and we all just hung outside for awhile.  It hadnt been raining for awhile  - it was nice outside!  fyi - I might not update the blog again until tomorrow midday.

Hero - it was raining by the time I saw Hero and he wasn't very happy about it.  He peed a few times but that was it!

Max - Max got 2 visitors today:  Dixon and the puppy from next door.  We were both a little surprised when they came running over.  He just stood there and everybody sniffed him.  Their owners came over and got them and that was the end of the visit.  Max had already peed (thank goodness) by the time the other 2 dogs came over.

Steve is all puppy!!

Steve - Steve was a lot of fun today.  He was really fired up this morning and was giving both Madison and Murhpy a hard time.  I guess I wasnt good enough to play with... he wanted them to play.  He did poop on the morning visit.

Brady & Ferguson - Brady pooped on the walk and they both tried to chase after the birds.  They also found a golf ball which was pretty exciting.  They ate most of their dinner.... Brady ate more than Fergie.

I got pretty lucky with the rain today! Hero - it wasn't raining at all and Hero was happy about that.  He walked around and did his normal sniffing!

Steve - he is so so cute and he's gotten so big!  I was laughing at him b/c his tail wags when he eats.  He tried really hard to get Murphy to play today.. Murphy didn't want to play!

Louis & Sunny are happy to be back in the house!

Sunny & Louis - I put Sunny's raincoat on him today and he still didn't want to walk.  I carried him most of the first half of the walk.  He walked the whole way back of course.....!  Louis has diarrhea but he seemed to be acting just fine!

Max - Max was so cute when I came in today.  His body was laying on the rug and his head was on his pillow.  He did get up to go outside and he peed right away.

Dusty - Dusty was happy to see me... I came early.  He peed right away outside and he pooped too!

Maisy & Gracie - They were both barking when I came in so I just came in and talked sweetly to them.  I grabbed the yogurt and started putting their dinner together.  Gracie got excited then I could tell.  When I took the yogurt back up to the fridge, Maisy came down and ate a little bit.  She heard me moving around and then got scared so she ran back up the stairs and underneath the kitchen table.  She'd eaten about 1/3 of her food though :)  By this time, Gracie had finished hers needless to say!  So, I grabbed the treats and gave both of them a treat.  I grabbed the harness too and persuaded Maisy to come down the stairs too (using another treat.)  Of course, the first time I went to hook the harness I had it backwards/upside-down/wrong, so I had to start over.  Bless her heart!  She needed to go outside.  She peed for what seemed like awhile and then she walked around and pooped too.  I did see Gracie pooping too.  However, someone had left a rather large pile of poop in the downstairs den.  It was on the wood floor so very easy to clean up!  (and I did.)  Overall, I think they both did just  great.  I can't wait to see them tomorrow.  (I didn't take a picture of Gracie tonight.  Once they're a little more used to me, I'll snap a photo of her!)

Hero - it rained on us a little bit this morning so Hero wasn't thrilled to be outside.  He did pee several times but then he was ready to come back inside. Maggie - I learned something new about Maggie today.   I don't think she likes baseball caps.  One of the neighbors was running and stopped to say hello.  Maggie was really interested when she was across the street but when she got close, she got really scared.  With some positive reinforcement and the removal of the hat, she came around.  Interesting....
