Pet sitting on Wednesday 12/30
Ruby - She was a little shy at first (for maybe the first 30 seconds) but then I grabbed her leash and she got so excited she about wiggled out of her skin. We went for a walk. She seemed a little timid on the walk (just like last time) but she seemed to enjoy herself. She still hasn't pooped but she seemed just fine. We played a little bit after we came inside.
Kai and Gracie - I went to see them early this morning and Kai's little head was watching me through the window as I walked up. I took them outside twice while I was there and gave them a little more food and the kitty too. 2nd visit: they were ready to go outside and this time, Kai was watching me as I left. 3rd visit: they're doing just great. We saw your neighbor outside tonight with her small dog. I didn't know they were outside and her dog barked and I about jumped out of my skin! She mentioned that she is putting up a fence and told you that Kai and Gracie could come over and run around. I know they'd love that!
Basil - Basil was really talking this morning. I sat down and really pet him and he just soaked it all in.
Max - he was snoozing pretty hard today. He finally woke up and we went outside so he could pee. He did a little bit of sniffing too!
Dog sitting, cat sitting and dog walking on Tuesday 12/29
Brrrr it is cold. I should've asked Santa for some ear muffs!!! I could've used them today!
Turkey Lurkey - Turkey Lurkey was upstairs again and started meowing as soon as I came in. Everything is just fine but I know you are missed!
Hadley, Ollie & Daisy - Ollie slept in the room with me last night and jumped up on the bed with me around 4am. Hadley and Daisy slept downstairs. They were all excited to go outside this morning but Daisy and Ollie were ready to come back in pretty fast so they could eat their breakfast!
Kai and Gracie - They were excited to see me this morning. I think Kai has figured it out that I give them a treat when we go back in the house b/c after he pees & poops, he goes and stands at the back door!
Max and Genny - Max didn't care about going outside this morning right when I got there, he wanted to eat! After he ate, he went outside.
Basil - Basil was really talking to me this morning. I pet him and brushed him and then gave him more food and cleaned out his box.
Rilly, Mr Lucky Meow and Oh No - They all seem to be doing really good. Oh No and Mr Lucky Meow were really affectionate again this morning and Rilly was downstairs with the boys while I was getting breakfast ready.
Brady & Ferguson- the boys were happy to be outside. I'm amazed that they don't seem to mind the cold at all. They were happy rolling around in the grass.
Max - Max was awake when I came in and got up pretty quickly to go outside. It was a short trip outside though... he was cold (well, I was cold too!!)
Pet sitting on Monday 12/28
Kai & Gracie - They both sit (Kai sometimes not so patiently) while I put their leashes on them before we go outside. They both take care of their business right away and then do some sniffing in the yard.
Max and Genny - They barked again today as I came in and then they were ready to go outside. Genny ate just a little bit this morning and I put them in their crates before I left. 2nd visit: I grabbed lunch and ate it at your house while the dogs stayed outside. Genny was really content to just be outside (I thought it was cold!!)
Basil - I brushed Basil for a long time this morning and he loved it!
Mr Lucky Meow, Rilly and Oh No - they all came into the kitchen today while I prepared breakfast and then they all came upstairs while I cleaned out their boxes. 2nd visit: they've all been fed their dinner and Oh No was really affectionate this visit!
Hadley, Ollie and Daisy - Hadley's paws were a mess.... the towel I used is now a mess :) I think he must try digging to China while he is outside! They've all had their dinner so they're happy!
Dog and Cat Sitting on Sunday 12/27
Kai & Gracie - They were both happy to see me this morning and they went outside and both peed right away. 2nd and 3rd visits: they definitely like having company. Gracie ate a little bit while I was there today and Kai just wanted to play! Sweetie - Sweetie had carried one of your shoes onto her bed but it didn't look like she chewed on it or anything. I think she misses you.
Jay & Chloe - I threw the ball a couple of times for Jay and she peed and pooped. I fed them both too.
Max and Genny - They both barked as I walked up this morning. They went outside a few times and Genny ate about 1/2 of her breakfast while I was there.
Allie & Tilly - Allie and I played outside a little bit (although it was cold so we didn't play too much) and she wanted to roll around in the grass. It seems like she has had a bath somewhat recently so I didn't think rolling around was such a good idea. She still isn't eating her dog food.... Tilly was just fine and is eating all of the food that I've been leaving for her.
Basil - he was really purring today. I had to brush him b/c everytime I tried to pet him, I'd shock him. He didn't seem to mind it at all but I thought brushing would be better :)
Mr Lucky Meow, Rilly and Oh No - They all greeted me in the kitchen. They'd not eaten all of their food from last night so I pitched what was left and gave them fresh food. Rilly was eating when I left. :)
Grace, Sugar & Max - well.... today's theme has been shoes. I texted you re: 4 shoes of yours that became chew toys last night. I put the shoes up and put several that were still in your closet and not harmed in the linen closet in your bathroom. Not good for the shoes but the dogs all seemed fine. Sugar & Grace both ate and Max wanted to eat Sugar's food but I didn't let him.

All the doggies and kitties that I'm caring for were doing just great this morning and I even managed to get in one day after Christmas shopping spree! I love Ace Hardware at the Park Road Shopping Center! Here is the latest with everyone: Sweetie - She was very happy last night during my last visit and this morning, it'd stopped raining!! She peed and pooped this morning and she was eating her breakfast when I left. I'm on my way to see her shortly to go for a walk. Midday visit: we had a nice walk. When it rains like it did yesterday, it makes me realize that I really don't mind the cold! 3rd visit - she went outside and peed and then was ready to go back in the house. I gave her a treat :)
Max & Genny - They've been doing just great. The rain certainly didn't bother them (but I am glad it stopped!) Genny munched on her breakfast a little bit this morning while I was there but then she was ready to go back outside again so she and Max went running out the backdoor when I opened it. I've been doing my early morning visit fairly early and they've been really good about not barking too much :)
Allie & Tilly - I love love love Allie's dance that she does. She is so funny when she does it. We went outside and played with the football some this morning. Bless Tilly's heart though, she just sits at the door and stares at us. She wants to come out too!
Basil - Basil had eaten all of his food yesterday and he'd been playing too. Several of the toys were in different places.... I'm glad he is entertaining himself!
Mr Lucky Meow, Rilly and Oh No - They all gathered in the kitchen this morning while I got their breakfast ready. Everybody got a piece of turkey too while Rilly ate her medicine. They've been eating well! Most mornings their food bowls are pretty empty.
Jay & Chloe - I threw the ball for Chloe and she chased and then I threw it again and again and again :) I know she'd keep going for as long as I'd throw it. Chloe was out of food so I gave her some more and pushed the chair over it so Jay can't get to it.
Kai and Gracie - They were both very glad to see me. We went outside and both of them peed and pooped and then Kai headed for the house. I opened the Beggin' Strips and they were both patiently "sitting" waiting for me to give them each one.

Sweetie - Sweetie reluctantly did go outside but she didn't like the rain. She did have a little accident overnight... there was a small pee puddle on the floor. Bless her heart, she was looking at me with those sad eyes as I cleaned it up. I told her it was okay :) Max & Genny - They don't seem to mind the rain at all.... at least Genny doesn't. She went out a couple of times and Max went out twice (before he ate and after!)
Allie & Tilly - Allie didn't seem to mind the rain either but she wanted me to out with her. I did in the backyard and then she started to roll around on her back in the grass (i.e. the mud!) I called for her and we went in the house and I toweled her off! Silly, silly girl. Tilly is doing fine too. I played with her some this morning.
Basil - Basil was talking to me this morning, perhaps wishing me a Merry Christmas!
Mr Lucky Meow, Oh No and Rilly - all 3 kitties were in the kitchen together this morning. I fed them, cleaned out their boxes and gave Rilly her medicine.
Punkin - Punkin was doing just fine this morning. He'd eaten most of his food so I refilled his bowl, topped off his water and hit the switch to clean his box. I love that by the way!!
